Here's the deal: If you have the original Skyrim, with all your mods on it, and you got this for free, it is the best free upgrade you will ever have. Keep playing the original Skyrim for the mods until SKSE is compatible with the new Skyrim. Once that happens, most of the popular mods should be ported over pretty quickly for the new Skyrim. There are some mods that will work with the new Skyrim, however I would just try out the game vanilla if you want to do a quick playthrough. The 64-bit upgrade will be the best deal for modding Skyrim. Just be patient, and this will be the best thing to have happened to Skyrim since Skyrim.

Edit: It has happened. SKSE64 is upon us. May the mods be ever compatible. Ready for Skyrim 2.
