Very unique and interesting 4X. The planet generation is incredibly detailed and novel, and really makes each playthrough feel unique. The game can be incredibly immersive if you like to roleplay a bit and really feel like you're leading a faction back to prominence after a cataclysm.

The interface can be complex and difficult to navigate at first by modern standards, and the underlying mechanics are even more complex than they seem at first glance. But the game has an excellent manual (remember those?). If you're patient and put in a little time to learn the ropes, the game will reward you for it a hundred-fold.

This game is awesome and everyone that enjoys shooters, co-op, and especially both, should buy and play it.

Well done Arrowhead. You guys knocked it out of the park with the sequel. There are still lots of challenges with bugfixes, balancing, and dumbass publishers to deal with, but you've created an amazing game.

P.S. If for some reason access is not restored in the 100+ non-PSN countries that previously had access to the game, we're going negative again. Democracy is for everyone.

By letting Sony know that 3rd party logins suck!

You don't need our data.
You don't need to artificially boost your PSN activity numbers for the next quarter.
You don't need to force developers to require this crappy account linking system, which isn't even necessary for cross-platform multiplayer (here's hoping you don't get any cute ideas from that).

You're making millions off these developers' hard work. Give them the freedom to meet their players' needs and and keep them happy, and the money will continue to roll in. Don't require them to implement this MBA-brained garbage. The player base may not disappear overnight, but it will be impacted, along with the game's long-term success. Think past the end of the current fiscal quarter, I implore you.

Here's hoping Arrowhead will point to all these negative reviews and get Sony to back off. For Democracy!

They did it. They really did it. FINALLY!

Every strategy game fan needs to play this.

A worthy successor to the original. People are upset right now with server issues due to the launch, and are bombing the game with negative reviews. I share their frustration, but the problems will be fixed, and a year from now the Queue Boss will just be an amusing anecdote in the game's history. Yes, ping can be a concern for NA players as the server cluster is located in the EU, but the game's combat system essentially has lag compensation as part of its design. Is it perfect? No. But on my simple cable connection, ping hasn't really been an issue. Additionally, new continents are going to be added to the game (starting with areas that were available in the first game), and the developers have suggested that the server clusters for the new areas may be located in different regions of the real world, the obvious first candidate being NA.

The roadmap is long, and the developers have proven for over a decade that they will stick with the game. I like where this one is headed.

Pretty much a must-buy for Vive owners. Local multiplayer and intuitive gameplay makes Cloudlands great for social gatherings, and with a level editor available, there will always be new courses to play. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
