I played this on Rockstar launcher but only online and i had easily 500 hours. I loved hunting in this game, especially online. Me and a buddy of mine would hunt into the night just stacking elf carcasses like they did to the buffalo. It was a ton of fun. I rebought this game on Steam because I you don't tell me how to spend my money. I am finally playing the story, and so far so good. Some crashes, some weird glitches, but nothing that is game breaking.

Not only did this game teach my about System Architecture, I also got involved with virtual machines and containerization. You're like... "thats not in the game?" It's not, but I wanted to host my own persistent server. I bought a mini pc, installed linux, installed docker, and run a factorio headless server container because I friggen love this game. I haven't even gone to space.

Finally got my wife to enjoy a coop game. This allows for someone who doesn’t really like games to have fun. Besides bosses, there isn’t really a penalty for dying and my wife liked that the most. It has elements of Mario world and other platformers. The story is whatever, but the game is overall satisfying if you are trying to get someone who doesn’t usually play games into gaming. Take note though, if you play on Steam Deck, EA likes to just break the game every time they update it with their dumb DRM. If I want to pirate the game I will, stop making it worse for when I actually give you money. From now on, if I see an EA logo, I might just sail the seas just out of spite.
