It saddens me to post this review as I was a huge fan of the WOTR experience. This game is dead, only around 50 people played this game consistently a few months ago so I think it will be even less now. The Official servers have been abandoned to hackers and this makes the game completely hostile to new players, meaning that the player base will never grow again.

The main reason I played this game was the Duel Servers. I met many amazing people on these servers, namely the Wabbits Duel server on which I was an admin, and I used to love to spend a day chatting and duelling with people who did not ruin the game for others, although as you may have read in other reviews those people were few and far between.
I recently played this game again after a long period of inactivity, the duel servers were all gone as players could no longer afford to fund servers that were overrun by toxic players and not the experienced veterans that used to frequent them. None of the big player clans were active anymore, which was one of the main reasons I loved this game. The servers that did have players were all high ping and almost unplayable and every other player was speedhacking or lag-switching.
To summarise, what was once a great game with an amazingly fun combat system and tight-knit player base is now a cesspit of hackers and bad servers. I hope this review helps any people deciding whether or not to play this game.
