Early Access Review
I don't recomend this game, simply becuase I haven't been able to play it... I installed it and then loaded it up, I then created an account had to wait about 20 mins for it to install all of the necessary bits it needed, I then signed in and it launched the actual game and I noticed it was at the wrong resolution, I then joined a server to change the resolution to 1440X900 (my resolution) and then the game crashed... I then relaunched the game but it crashed as soon as it started up so I relaunched it a couple of times just to see whether it was a bit of a bug, but it still didn't work. I then uninstalled the game from my hard-drive then reinstalled it, thinking it would get rid of the resolution setting, but it then crashed on startup again, I then tried to launch it a couple times more but it kept crashing.

yes I do realise that the game in still in beta, but I think that as I paid £14.99 for it I should be able to play it wether I enjoy it or not its. A waste of money in my opinion

EDIT:
I looked into this problem further and found this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/247730/discussions/2/630800444771438163/#p1
considering that the developer has actually posted on this thread and said that he has forwarded it to his 'tech guys', it is from the 17th of november last year and there is still nothing to say how to fix it, just thought i would let you know.

EDITEDIT:
I came up with a way to fix this, you need to change the resolution of your monitor to a lower resolution and then launch the game again and then take it out of fullscreen mode and it should work, i hoped this could have possibly helped someone a little.

I have now played the game itself, and I was extremely disapointed, 90% of the buildings I went into had literally nothing in them, not even any decorative items let alone loot. on my first life I spawned inside a building, which had nothing in it (decorations or loot), I then travelled around a bit looking for some loot, and I came across a little campsite with a floating, shining, baseball bat, so I took it... and then i got swarmed by about 5 crawlers and one of those big things (I don't know what they are called as the game is lacking any sort of tutorial), i then died almost instantly... bare in mind i had no idea that they were coming for me, they just suddenly teleported out of nowhere.
On my second life I spawned inside yet another soul-less building, I then traveled to the safe area as i had spawned quite close to it as i was just about to enter the safe area someone came up behind me, without me noticing, and shot me a couple of times in the back of the head with his pistol...
On my third life i, yet again spawned in some old office tower which had nothing inside except from a couple of decortive, busted computers. From here i then traveled around a bit, going for quite some time, I encountered many crawlers throughout my journey, most of them just being on their own (luckily), I then found some broken shotgun parts which I then took as I assumed that I would be able to make it into a proper shotgun if I had enough parts so I then traveled to the safe area in order to craft it only find out that it's anti-nether system had failed so the game then told me that I needed to fix some anti-nether things (can't remember the name) , so I then went about and i thought that as there was 16 other players on my current server that we would sort it out in no-time, but no it turned out that i was the only person that cared about the safe-area so I then went about repairing the anti-nether thing, which doesn't sound too hard but it was as their was about ten of those tall nethers that have the red beam thing coming out their face (again no tutorial so I wouldn't know what they are actually called) about 20 crawlers and around 5 of those big tank things. I had safely gotten around only having to kill a couple of crawlers and the beam face ones aswell, and I had reapaired 4 of the 6 anti-nether things, I was walking through another heartless building until suddenly 2 of the giant tank things just appeared out of nowhere with another 5 crawlers and yet again died pretty much instantly...

Overall i think that Nether has ALOT of potential to become the next DayZ or Rust but at the moment when you are just lost from the get-go and getting repeatedly killed in ways of which you cannot stop, it is not worth buying.

I hope this review helps your decision towards wether you should get this or not, and i wish luck to the guys that have created Nether as i think it could be improved further and be quite good.
