Oh well that's another Alien game, why not giving it a try.. The earlier two/three I had played (namely isolation, that Avp brawler game on arcade and the 2D metroidvania on the Snes) somehow earnt my respect and had some nice features.
But before you spend a 30+ bucks on that just take a moment and ask yourself this : Am I a diehard fan of the saga to the point of needing another nearly uninspired game history wise, and gameplay wise? (.. Don't even get me started on the contents.. They're so scarce and unexciting for such a recent iteration of the license it's a mere shame to be honest..) So all things considered there's basically not an ounce of fun to be had here.. It's plain boring and a complete waste of your time and money, even though I loved most of the films and quite a bunch of the previous games.. I'll be back to Warframe, Doom or Borderlands in seconds without afterthoughts or regrets of any kind. This is the sort of releases the refund mechanics have been designed for, time to make use of these!

A great game to anyone interested in co-op action, a fair deal of items to loot, pretty good looks. Rated A by yours truly without a doubt. Can't wait for the forthcoming sequel to hit stores.

Well well well .. as much as i'd like to spread the good word about every single GW related games i must admit this one is among those no one can possibly support. The tech involved is clearly outdated by AEONS and most of all the gameplay is .. how to put it simply and fairly .. suckarse is the word i was looking for i guess. Avoid this game at all cost, i wouldn't spend one more hour sailing the seas of the Old World even if the game was free.

A very straight forward adventure game mostly based on combat, either on foot or vehicle based. Graphics are overall decent with a few glitchy or eventually kinda ugly textures in some dark places players won't always notice, they made good use of the blur effect to that end... gives it all a better rendering. Max will gain in XP as the player delves further and further into the neverending mess of the wasteland and so will his ride (the Magnum Opus) to eventually put you in command of a war machine of sinister capabilities (O Joy!) .. embarking flamers, explosive throwables, spikes, saws .. you name it! The game offers a lengthy, fun and entertaining experience and considering its price you should give it a try right now!

The idea of a massive shooter involving WAR40K lore looked very appealing at first but there are simply too many downsides to this game at present. The visuals are plain antique and the framerate drops make the experience quite painful on large maps. since the early access is over i have only thin expectations regarding server migration or graphic engine evolution but i'll keep hanging around to see if things get better and hopefully they will. Playing Space Marines Vs Orks battles the scale of a classic Battlefield game are simply the most enchanting perspective to me!!

Simply stunning in term of visuals compared to the first opus and still thrilling to the bits! New animations and sound effects make it even more appealling & satisfying to beat an orc team into sumbmission now .. very unique and viable tactical game here with a lot of depth and replayability!

Long story short, that tenth MK episode is the best ever. Graphics are simply stunning, sound effects and music are above average too (spooky and stuff just like always ..) and most of the epic characters the franchise owes its success to made a brilliant and gory comeback. Gameplay wise : a lot of valuable additions like background objects interactivity, Faction War, dynamic tower generation, profile Xp, a whole new krypt system and so forth!! Like they tend to say, it's damn well worth your money pal!! Try it or die ;-)

Early Access Review
Remember that old clunky game called MechWarrior on the super famicom? Well i do pretty much, I have very clear memories of it and basically i think HAWKEN was the game i more or less was wishing to get my hands on in those days. It's free to play .. benefits from very decent looks and uses a totally user-friendly interface / gameplay which in my opinion qualifies for great quality. The ingame progression thanks to an xp system will allow you to personalize and improve your loadout through the many missions of very diverse types you and your giant mecha are going to partake in with or without firends.

3GB worth of disk space ain't high a price to pay for this very interesting newer Mech combat game!

So today is saturday and as usual on saturdays i am off work .. maybe i got some spare time to look around for newer and possibly cheap games to try out right?! Not usually being your MOBA fanboy i didn't think i should try DRAGONS and TITANS for it almost completely offers the same type of gameplay as LoL, Dota and Airmech. Besides it doesn't look that much more attractive to the eye than the formers but hell that's a F2P and it only requires 1 Gb worth of free disk space to install ..

To my own utter surprise i actually ended up gaining some esteem at least for this game . . the graphics are decent, the dragon designs are fun and nice to look at, the game plays quite fast/smooth and the upgrade system seems to be rather well built. Not an award winner here but yet it's free and won't consume all your disk space. On top of that a campaign mode implying unlockable rewards all over appears in addation to the usual 5 vs 5 rumbles of various kinds all the mobas have become famous for.

Quite recommandable so specially if you have only a basic computer to run your games.

"Wow wow .. WOW!! Hold on a second is this even possible?! KoF leaked on Steam?! I've got to check it out then, i simply have to!" .. were the first words occuring to my mind when i read the news some months ago. I was certainly very eager to get this newer version of the game since the franchise did make quite a reputation back in the days some of which can still be caught here and there within the flock of oldschool / hardcore gamers nowadays. I've ended up waiting for a few months until a decent discount would more than justify the aquisition and o boy do i feel contented now!!
The games basicaly works like it always has with all the evade - block - counter - Ex (?! well yeah that one is quite new to the KoF mechanics actualy!) - Fury - Deadly Fury and even the different jump manoeuvres such as big leap, tiny hops and even long/faster hops! The greatest asset of this game is to bring flashy and cartoon-like 2D graphics (set in motion by some of the best animation and framerate you'll ever get to see in one of thes fighter games!) with combat mechanics even a Tekken or Virtua Fighter wouldn't quite be able to compare to somehow! I know this quote seems to get a little more messy line after line so to sum up things and get to the point : Great visuals (if you can afford oldschool 2D themed games that is .. if you can't shame on you!), super complex yet accessible combat mechanics, quite a big rooster of fighters (even for a game like this one), quite amazing soundtrack and voiceacting (which tended to be somehow poorer in some earlier versions of the game) and as always a VERY challenging (if not too much at times!) AI .. If you like 2D fighters you will have to seriously consider putting your money into this one .. pretty much well spent!
