Sometimes you play an indie game that has that feeling to it. It might not be polished to perfection or have that much content *YET*, but there is enough under the surface already to make it feel like something very special is taking place, and you are very excited to follow along and see what next big thing you might be standing on the cusp of.

"PIGFACE" is that game for me right now.

If you are a fan of ImSims where there is no traditional levelling up except for the equipment you aquire, but the focus is rather on exploration and trying out different ways of completing a goal, i could see this becoming one of your favorite new games as well. If you like the vibe of "Manhunt", "Hotline Miami", and "Intravenous" i think you will feel right at home.

Brilliant detective game, feels fresh every time i decide to pick it up due to the procedurally generated world of crime.
Fun and exciting mechanic at the center of gameplay where you tie together the clues that you find in order to build a case file.

A "true" mystery game, where your own skills of deduction are put to the test, as yoy have to reason your way to finding out the fate of the Golden Idol. More games in this genre are sorely needed.

A commentary about vapid consumer culture that actually manages to turn its detractors (who mostly judge it on a surface level without bothering to investigate it) into part of its commentary. Horrible, vomit-inducing, cerebral, *sublime*.
