This has got to be my least favorite Call of Duty ever made. All 3 modes have their shortcomings, but all are equally disappointing. Spoilers below:

Multiplayer
You've heard it. You know it. It's an absolute sweat-fest. I'm not great at FPS games but I play Tarkov, CS2, along with nearly every CoD since WaW. In these games I can compete just enough to have some fun after work. I just can't keep up with Black Ops 6. Maybe I'm getting older, maybe they're putting something in the water at the schools. These kids are playing like their life ****ing depends on it. Gone are the days of sniping. Forget the promise of camo-hunting and LMGs. For in the grimdark mode of multiplayer, there is only sweat. Of course there are other flaws. Only 3 guns are going to kill you for the entirety of the 2 hours you hop on to play. The omni-directional bull**** is cracked. The colors of the maps and operators get a little funky sometimes and occasionally you just wont be able to see people because they blend in with everything around them. I won't be playing multiplayer anymore. If that's why you want this game, just wait a year for the next one in my opinion.

Campaign
Where do I even start? I suppose I'll say that the Iraq free-roam mission was enjoyable. The enemies are a bit challenging for a CoD title, and they added some elite enemies that occasionally pop up with some unique gimmicks that force you to change your approach mid-fight. Other than that, there's nothing good about the campaign. The story is straight up garbage. Its a cringey, predictable, forced narrative that feels like anything but a CoD story. Woods has been, once again, reduced to a wheelchair-bound alcoholic who would rather smoke than give a single Woods-like voiceline. Hey devs? Y'all know that the original voice actor for Woods isn't dead right? He's still very much alive and would love to voice act for the game again. This "Onion Woods" doesn't cut it. Get him right or don't have him in the game at all. They took Cold War's endgame twist with Adler and threw that away. Perseus? Never mentioned again. Now we have Pantheon. You can't make this **** up. Of course they have all the character tropes now required in modern CoD titles, and of course they feel forced and like they don't belong in the game. The WORST MISSION OF ALL TIME IN COD goes to the mission where you and Marshall break into a bio weapons lab. In this lab you breathe in some gas that makes you hallucinate zombies everywhere. Yes, zombies. You fight zombies and zombie bosses for an entire mission, about 30 minutes. One of the bosses literally starts playing the classic 115 song from Black Ops 1. Overall the story is just fan service. Absolute worst campaign in a CoD ever.

Zombies
If you liked Cold War's zombies, you should enjoy this one too. Arguably the best part of this game, but still falls short for me. I only played 2 matches with some friends and decided it wasn't for me but they enjoyed it. If you want to buy BO6 for the zombies, watch some gameplay on youtube first and decide for yourself.

If you have played war thunder on Playstation at any point in the past and have linked that gaijin account to your steam, good luck trying to play here. The game will tell you that you cannot play with an account related to PSN. I made two new accounts, logged out of my playstation account, unlinked it from my steam, turned my PC off and on, nothing works. You'll have to download the gaijin launcher.

Campaign is awesome so far! Space Marine 2's combat rhythm is unique to say the least, and makes for some really palm-sweaty hand moments. Plenty of references that don't feel too fan-service-ey but are much appreciated by longtime Warhammer fans.

If you are playing with a friend: BEWARE! Bugs are everywhere, and I'm not talking about the heretical ones. For now, expect crashes, visual discrepancies, and getting kicked from the lobby after just about every cutscene or loading screen. Playing alone I haven't had too many problems apart from the servers not wanting me to connect, but that could be expected due to the INSANE player numbers they are experiencing right now.

Remember Fallout 3 and how it was the first game in the series to be a FPS? Remember New Vegas expanding on literally every aspect of its predecessor and delivering one of the best single-player stories of all time? Remember how far Skyrim pushed the limits of game design to the point that it influences every open-world game made since its release? Remember how Fallout 4 completely overhauled the Fallout series as a whole, continuing Bethesda's theme of one-upping their previous releases? Remember when Fallout 76 finally gave us some form of multiplayer for a Fallout game? Those games were innovative. Those games, whether you liked them or not, at least added something of enormous value to Bethesda's library. This game adds nothing to Bethesda's legacy, at least nothing positive. It asks no deep questions, pushes no boundaries, tries nothing new. It is a tragic failure. A pitiful excuse of a story and a wasted "effort" on the part of every person involved with this game's creation. How in the Hell did this get "Most Innovative Gameplay"?
