Of all the viral proximity chat type games that have been popping up lately, this is by far the best one. The perfect balance between relaxing and difficult. It's fun with friends (as usual) but can also be enjoyed completely solo which is more important because it won't be another dead game in your library when your friends abandon it in a month. I also like that teamwork is encouraged and that there's an actual goal rather than collecting loot endlessly until progression is impossible. There's no in-game matchmaking which could be seen as a downside but honestly, it's always difficult finding a lobby for this kind of game when everyone is installing mods. I would recommend joining official Discord if you're looking for people to play with.

Cute and fun casual game. It takes place on one big island split into a handful of different areas. You eat to progress until you reach the final zone. Repeat two more times without getting caught to beat the game.

The main game loop can be completed in around ten minutes and everything can be unlocked in a few hours. It's not too easy that it's boring but it still is repetitive if I'm being honest. I never got the chance to try out co-op but I imagine that would be fun too.

One thing I did not like though was the motion blur (there's no setting besides resolution, frame rate, and vsync). This normally doesn't bother me but fullscreen mode combined with the slow panning camera was genuinely headache inducing; it felt like I needed glasses. I guess I'm in the minority though because no other review so far has mentioned this.

The retro graphics, the sound effects, watching the number go up. Everything about this game tickles my brain. It's very addicting too, I have played for literally dozens of hours. There are crashes and balancing issues but the dev has already addressed this in the weekly announcement. At $5 it's really hard to pass up and the game will only get better with each update. Buy it.

Really fun, creative puzzle game with pretty environments. Not too difficult, though it's a bit on the short side considering the price. You can expect to finish it within a few hours. I can't complain too much because I got it in a bundle but I do wish there were more puzzles, especially involving the late game mechanics.
