Finally got around to playing this ten years after release, but better late than never. Didn't have the opportunity to play this on launch back in the day, but I'm glad I finally did; I've been itching to play something modern that simultaneously felt classic, and lo and behold, I found it. Fantastic action platforming with a modern twist that leaves you wanting more when the story is over. Ample amount of upgrades and collectibles without overwhelming the player as well.

Graphically, this game still stands the test of time; a decade later and the textures, animations and lighting still look as fantastic as it originally did. I'll definitely be picking up the sequels as soon as possible. 8.5/10

In the past, I have found myself ragequitting every single FromSoft game to date, however this one just stuck with me and I cannot get enough. I'm addicted at this point. A wonderful setting, fantastic weapons, abilities and creatures. I could go on and on lauding this title. It is the most accessible FromSoft game to date.

Early Access Review
Easily one of the most immersive and spectacularly unique games I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Very enthralling world coupled with excellent exploration. A proprietary engine with excellent rag-doll and momentum based physics give the combat flare never before seen in any other isometric RPG. Highly recommend.

First for Mazdamundi!

Overall, the game improves combat over the first one significantly, slowing down the pace of fighting, allowing the player to make more tactical decisions and maneuvers during gameplay. Graphically, the textures are fantastic, much better than the original's, however, I personally have had some issues with the overall "bluriness" of the game, where models become indestinguishable from one another when taking screenshots. Regardless, I highly recommend them game to fans of the original Warhammer Total War, and any new and returning fans of both Total War and Warhammer Fantasy.

A truly impressive game. Been playing it for about 5 years now and it's definitely my favorite in the series, improving on what the first one had and then some. The mod community is fantastic, always coming up with something new and fun (Warsword Conquest and 1257AD come to mind) to keep the gameplay fresh and the player engaged. Tons of weapons, armor to suite all styles of play.

A very high quality game wrapped in a minimalist 1-bit package. Fantastic dynamic soundtrack that changes depending on how you customized your flyer. Very addictive bullet-hell-esque gameplay with a handful of in-game achievments to keep you playing for that high score. A plethora of combination possibilites allows the player to customize their Rauser to their preferred playstyle. I highly recommend picking this one up whenever you get the chance. Doubly so if it's on sale. :)

The servers are absolute garbage. Non-stop crashing and awfully unresponsive at times.

The battles are quite nice, though there's hardly any strategy involved. It seems to me that whether or not you win melee engagements is determined by how effective the initial charge was. The abilities are a nice touch, though they are not as effective as I believe they should be. The graphics on the other hand are very nice and the changing seasons and the way it affects rivers on the kingdom map is very aesthetically pleasing.

Overall, a very interesting take on the Total War series that appeals more to the "idle game" crowd than to more dedicated players.

For the price, the game is without a doubt a steal. A minimalistic soundtrack and low-poly graphics give it a subtle charm that is sure to please. Overall a very therapeutic, casual puzzle experience.
Has simple "god game" mechanics, letting you build entire universes any way you'd like with the assetts provided for each planet (puzzle). I would definetly recommend to those that are looking for something simple and accesible to destress with after a long day of work.
