this game is real fun. cartoon gore and weird vaguely religious ♥♥♥♥, but this dev is known for that idk where to post bug feedback so its here

desert heatwave covers skull on allied corpses to show how many hits until they die
blessing of holy fire cleric trait- holy spells deal damage to allies too, text says enemies, either bug or text error

easy to play, tons of unlocks, variety of builds to enjoy
also, active development and updates. it needs some polish in some areas (UI, keyboard only/mouse only/controller only play) but has been a blast

this game is INCREDIBLE!!!!!
it is extremely challenging, but extremely fair and transparent with how you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up

definitely still early access, approx 7 biomes, 4-5 tiers, 12ish weapons and 12ish abilities- not nearly as fleshed out as dead cells was when it was released for the first time, but the dev team is active and are going to deliver an AMAZING finished product
