Very enjoyable game, very nostalgic with the ability to switch to OG graphics. Great that it includes the expansion packs originally only available on PC. The new gfx work well for modern games and recent patches help push it even more, the game had allot of input from modders who love this game and it shows. RE should have this treatment and tbh this can be a standard barer for other classic games to be remastered with quality of life improvements while keeping what made it great (OG GFX).

Downside? It can be difficult so not really one for newer gamers (tank controls, which are NOT bad!) and the gaining 100% can be troublesome. This is more for the fans and those enjoyed the games first time around, for new people it does give them a chance but quite often new people tend to be closed minded and want a quick/easy game.

Know and understand what you're getting in for and don't judge it based on old style ways.

While I would still recommend this game, it strays way too far from the norm for Lego Games, it drops the ball in some aspects and the replayability. I was really looking forward to this game but the moment they showed off the vast world hubs I became worried about how much of a lego game it would be. In the end it's repeated boss fights, vehicle chases and travelling from A to B for mini cuteness that can't be replayed.

Additionally, it misses allot of characters and additional stories they could have included in this. even if it was DLC, speaking of which a real low blow where buying the game originally to get all DLC, the 'new' DLC had to be purchased separably and they are all characters not really adding any real value to the game.

I hope for future games they take some ideas from this game but return to the original formula of Lego games, they were more fun to play.

The duels are a deal breaker for me tbh, other people may like it but personally I don't. It breaks any enjoyment I have when I try to do the duels moving the mouse cursor/aim sight that likes to float around (even after I adjust the setting), then based on % of focus and then moving your hand in a certain position for increased speed just to get a slight chance of a shot, not a kill but a shot. 9/10 the enemy gets the kill and I have to redo it, I don't mind a challenge but when repeating and annoying section over and over again isn't fun. More so when I just want to play for the story.

Give it a try for yourself and make you're own choice, personally not a fan.

First game of the Ezio Trilogy in the Assassin’s Creed Series, massive improvements from the original Assassin’s Creed game that appeased allot of the fans at the time of the games release. For myself, after really enjoying the original game, had been super hyped for the game was invested before its initial release. I still recall watching the 3 part short film Linage as soon as it was available and the ‘behind the scenes’/Making of trailers for the games detailing how much detail they updated for the new title.

As for the game… Loved it! I played the entire game near nonstop doing everything possible; main missions, side missions, collectables, DLC, Achievements. Additionally this was (for me atleast) the introduction of UPlay challenges where you could earn ‘points’ that you could redeem things in game. I love this idea however over time UPlay has changed allot and maybe not for the better. By the end of the game I had completed everything it had to offer and I was not disappointed.

Brotherhood & Revelations were good and kept the interest going until the release of AC3 however for me (and maybe allot others) this was the start of disappointment in the series (though some noticeable high points). While the Assassin’s Creed series isn’t bad, it has had its moments and for myself Ezio’s trilogy was one of its highest specifically AC2.

Years later after deciding to give the series another chance and playing the newer games for the first time I eagerly awaiting to play AC2 and take control of Ezio again and this time on PC. Has it held up… yes/no, as of July 2020 it works perfectly fine on Windows 10 (unlike AC1) minus the occasional animation glitch but these were present in the original game when I played on the X-Box 360. It’s still entertaining, still looks good… generally, I’m sure some of the remastering flaws might have snuck in where things look little bad with the eyes but in the end I’ve either ignored this or was just my imagination. It might not hold up for some people, may be awkward to some people use to newer systems.

If you played this before you may enjoy firing this up for some nostalgia fun, if you haven’t played it before then you may still enjoy it but bare in mind this game was design and release back in 2009 on X-Box 360 and PlayStation 3 systems (PC few months later).

Quick notes;
DLC - all DLC is included on the making the game flow normally from Sequence 11-14
UPlay – UPlay is needed and it will automatically be added to the library when you install and sign up
UPlay worth it? – Kinda yes, there is a bonus mission included, Altaïr’s attire from AC1 and weapon capacity upgrades

Quite fun, started playing on iPad (would recommended PC version as extra content is free) managed to get this in a recent bundle and played it here, 2 bonus mission can be hard though. Nice thing to pass the time..

Fan of the RE Series since the PSX Days, RE2-Remake is nice combination of RE2, RE1.5 and Original ideas, defiantly a recommendation to any one, RE Fan or not.
