It is "more of the same" - and that is a compliment. $20 is a bit steep. I'm a $5/hour kinda guy normally, but this BARELY meets that - and adjusted for inflation? Yeah .. yeah ...

Great content. Lots of fun. Slightly over priced. $10-$15 is the sweet spot. I recommend it - but only at that price.

You're not going to fight any monsters. There are no weapons. Your chances of survival are small - you crash land on a dead planet with the shirt on your back, minimal hand holding and a simple crafting machine. Can you turn it into a fully lush thriving planet again, full of life?

This game scratches a very specific itch - not too easy, not too hard, deep-but-not-too-deep crafting, excellently paced progression so you're almost never bored or frustrated - progress perfectly "gatekept" without feeling like you're being help back.

Full controller support (and you don't need to "augment" with mouse and keyboard for things like inventory management) - one or two minor spots where you'll have to use the esc key (I need to report these to the dev).

I really appreciate a game that keeps you guessing - unlocking QOL slowly but steadily over time. It sounds like something easy to pull off - but it isn't.

At 60 hours in and still not complete (but life is pretty good on Planet Xanadu over here) - I finally felt it was time to review.

This is Game of the year 2024 despite what any other award ceremony or poll comes out with. It doesn't have any of the nasty crap in it you think it does and in fact it is Indiana Jones at its prime in the hands of competent storytellers.

Don't sit on this. This is the game we've wanted all year long.

I'm only a few hours in, but I can tell this will be special. While it really is 90% a "3rd Person Overwatch Clone", there is quite a bit fresh in there that I don't think gets fairly represented.

If you're worried about "woke" or "Disney" or "Marvel" nonsense? Don't be. This game really has none of it (well, maybe the dumb Marvel quips).

This doesn't feel like Marvel or Disney or any sort of agenda driven content. Could it end up that way someday? Maybe - but so far, so good.
