I loved Wizard of Legend. It's controls were tight and responsive, it's art was stylish, and the replay value is near infinite. Unfortunately, Wizards of legend 2 not only lacks the style, it lacks the polish. Arcana vary wildly in their potency, with some upgraded ones feeling powerful, and others feeling worse than their basic counterparts. The art style is fairly generic in a post-Hades world, and for just $5 more, you may as well play Hades II instead. I don't think this game needed more time or effort, it needed a different development cycle less obsessed with capitalizing on the current market, and more insistent on remaining faithful to the original.

I am aware that I am recommending this game, but I'd also like to say that since the patch which was supposed to make the game more stable, it now crashes incessantly. Gameplay, voice-acting, and story have all been solid, I'm just sad I have to play on low-specs when I didn't use to, as of last week.
