I really wanted to like this game. You can tell it draws a lot of inspiration from BioShock, which is one of my favorite games. I also like the art style and creative theme. But the game is just so BORING.

It's almost entirely just fetch quest after fetch quest. Go here. Pick up highlighted thing. Go there. Place highlighted thing. Repeat over and over.

The combat is so rudimentary it's almost non-existent. Swing. Back up slightly to avoid an attack. Swing again. Repeat.

The walking/running is way too slow. The game is so QUIET. Hardly any ambient music playing, and there's usually just a low background hum, if anything. Heck, the game isn't even scary. It just seems like they started with such a cool concept and then didn't execute anything well. It's just a slog of nothingness.
