It's hard to concisely put into words all the different emotions this game has allowed me to experience. The game is a coming-of-age story yet it's a masterful critique of contemporary Philippine society. It goes at the heart of teenage angst and complexities yet it challenges adults to confront the realities they too must face. It achieves these all while having great storytelling, art, and music. I have a few nitpicks about the sudden rhythm gameplay and QTEs but the game's themes, presentation, and overall feel overshadow any of the small complaints I have.

Regarding the story itself (light spoilers), I was shouting at my screen because I didn't like the ending but after reflecting upon it more. It's ends on a sort of "will they-won't they" scene but it's open ended and allows for a lot of interpretation. I think it's like a Kimi no Na wa type ending because I'm a hopeless romantic.
