I highly recommend if you are a star wars fan, Its even better if you are also a clone wars fan.

Pros:
-Story is pretty good
-Good characters
-game play is decent
-lots of little easter eggs and cameos for familiar characters.

Cons:
-some odd glitches that may require a reload of your last save
-sometimes character animations are a bit janky, but it was rare for me

I cannot get over how incredible this game is, I bought it a week ago and have not been able to stop playing it. The story and mechanics already in game are amazing, I would definitely recommend it and I cannot wait for future updates!

This is a fantastic game, a little bit of Diablo meets Darksouls.

-story 6/10, a bit odd but neat

I definitely recommend; however, the game has so many annoying geometry issues, that can and likely will drive you mad. You shouldn't get stuck simply walking up stairs... just saying.

Was pleasantly surprised by this game. The core mechanics seem to be pretty solid and the game play loop is really enjoyable.

My only issues are with the assets, they are in need of a major refresh. I know its only in early access and that is subject to change, but right now its rough and does not seem very cohesive . Also, I personally would have opted for a more cartoony look rather than the late 2000's "realistic" but oh well.

Would recommend and I am definitely looking forward to watching this games development.

For starters I will admit that when the game first launched the intro to the game was a bit rough. It did not give you a good sense of what the rest of the game was like. However, it does look like a patch was released to address those issues, I just haven't tested it yet.

So with that being said..

The Good:
-the game is beautiful
-exploration is fun and there are a lot of hidden areas.
-Combat is simple but fun (once you unlock more of the abilities)
-crafting and upgrading is well done
-Lots of gear
-lots of customization
-whimsical

The Bad:
-The dialog and gibberish can also get a bit annoying but they fixed some of this in the last patch.
-puzzles are too easy, even on harder difficulties, but this can hopefully be fixed in a patch
-character creation was neat, but your base appearance is locked to a specific class, I wanted more flexibility here.
-game seems a bit childish at times
-no climbing system, I was honestly expecting a botw style climbing system
-swimming = death

Over all, I LOVE this game and plan to get any of the DLC / expansions (if any are planned) when they come out.
Some of the issues that I see people complaining about can, and hopefully, will be fixed in future patches.

i recommend buying if you like whimsical open world RPGs where your weapons don't break every 5min (seriously, who thought that was a good idea?)

This game combines elements from "souls like games", uncharted/tomb raider, and places it all in the Star Wars universe. The story, game play, characters and setting are all simply... amazing.

My only complaint... the appearance options. Who approved ponchos as nearly the only option?
Where are my Jedi robes?
Where are my Clone Wars Jedi armor options?
Definitely some opportunities missed there, but I digress... Highly recommend, will play again... and probably again. Maybe we will see some story DLC?

I played the alpha and loved it. The game was so much fun, exploring, leveling, the combat, finding awesome gear, customizing the gear, soaring around with your glider. I probably had 60+ hours into the alpha.
Exploration has no real purpose now, the world map is wide open, no real reason to explore when you can see, and fly anywhere.
Leveling is now done with artifacts?? that seem to grant you minor perks to movement stats, no skills to unlock.
Gear is regionally locked? Once you leave a region and venture into another, all the sweet gear you gathered is useless?
Combat is not as good as it once was.
The game has lost what made it fun. There is no longer a sense of progression, no longer a drive to explore, or fight droves of monsters to gain sweet XP and unlock more skills/make the ones you have unlocked even better.

I am not sure what happened during development but I really hope the dev can bring the magic back to this game, and make it what it was in alpha. Until then, I cannot recommend this game.

hands down my favorite Souls game.
