I really want to love this game, I do. I genuinely think it has the possibility to be a good game but as it is right now I can't continue to enjoy it.

Let's start off with the positives, I really enjoy building your deck to your play style, it's fun and quite unique for this type of game. The guns/weapons feel great to use, it feels awesome to shoot owing to excellent visual and sound design. I also really like the characters although some of their abilities are questionable, though for the most part it works well. I also like the look of the game overall, the environments in particular stand out really nice.

Now onto the flaws of this game. The first and biggest issue is how insane the difficulty curve is. When my friends and I played on Recruit, we found it way too easy. We could almost do whatever we want and not really care. In contrast, Veteran does nothing and ♥♥♥♥♥ in your mouth. The amount of times my friends and I have failed in a single mission on Veteran more than the entire 4 acts of Recruit combined, makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. We even attempted the first level on Nightmare and we couldn't even beat the mission which makes no sense. Although,some people have more luck playing solo with bots than attempting it with their friends. To give you an example I’ve played other games like Gunfire Reborn and Deep Rock Galactic with my friends on the highest difficulty many times.

Now for some other Issues I have with the game. I find while i'm playing with my friends the character voice lines tend to be quite repetitive and annoying. I feel like a good solution to this would be to either tone down the amount of times the voice lines are said or add more of them. Another problem with the game is latency. It's not noticeable at first until enemies that can bind or stun you still manage to stun or bind you even after you’ve killed them. It can be pretty bad as well in the later levels when swarms of zombies spawn and lag spikes happen more frequently.

With all the problems I've listed I don't think it's a game I would recommend for anyone right now.. Even though I received the game as a gift, I wouldn’t have paid the asking price in its current state.
