this game works 10 times better than tarkov and looks 100 times better. it's also pretty chill. it misses some of the stuff that tarkov (gun customization, quests, big intricate maps) does but more than makes up for it by being easy to pick up, fun and, once again, chill.

Really makes you with for more WH40k CRPGS. But trademark Owlcat bugs are not gone even after a year of updates and DLC, which, honestly, will be true even after they release second DLC

If this game had surface interactions of BG3/D:OS2 it would be the best CRPG in terms of gameplay yet and I would be worried about BG3 future since there would be very little to offer after such release. However, this means Owlcat Games still have somewhere to grow, so here's hoping to Rogue Trader having even deeper combat system!
The story, however, sometimes suffer from being avengers-tier, which isn't entirely bad, but it's not everyone's' cup'o'tea. The pacing of final act is also all over the place.
Class system is the best in the industry and miles ahead of everyone else. Stellar game, and very challenging if you are willing to go for it.

It's fun for like half an hour, and even then, in L4D you just picked up a gun and fired at zombies, while here you have to look for weapon upgrades/weapon mods, check cards, etc. It's like to take the main thing that L4D did good -- a game which you launch and just play to have a good time with friends, take that out and call it "just more L4D". A tedious Borderlands-L4D bastard child with worse animations and AI. Nobody needed that game. At all.

I really hope Yoko Taro will not make any other games, because I really don't like it when game punches me in the ♥♥♥♥ with it's gameplay 90% of the time — just to tear me a new one right in the nutsack with the story.
Don't get me wrong, story is absolutely great, and gameplay gets bad only if you go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bananas and try to do every quest in the game, but if you are looking for a good time while playing a bit on a weekend — don't play this one.
People more familiar with existentialism and who read a book or two in their time might find some themes a bit silly — don't worry, Mr. Taro will still get ya with some of his legendary nut punches.
On a serious note, characters in the story feel personal, and as soon as that detachment from the story which is almost always present in existentialists' works flies away — you are becoming a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess, and the game knows it. And while knowing it full well it continues to make a mess out of ya even further.
I find a bit silly that you have to play it 5 times for all endings, especially if you 100%'ed your first one and got real sick of running and swinging sword.
There is not anything quite like this on the market, except for Taro's other work, which is a bit on the rougher side if we are not talking about Automata.
Play it. Can't say you won't regret it, but still, it is one in a lifetime experience, and it goes even better if you didn't knew anything about the game beforehand.

Pathologic 2 is, at first look, another junky Eastern Europe game developed by some unknown studio with 3 IPs to their name, one of which is the original version of this game, Pathologic 2. Yet unlike other eastern junk, they had something besides poor knowledge of C# and Unity, which is a really creative game direction, and almost unique case of gameplay being unsepareble from the stroy, in a way, that if you didn't actually finish suffer through the game, you won't see anything of value in it's story. Yet it's presentation, characters, eery atmosphere and the whole experience of pressing right buttons and clicking right things makes this one of the most memorable experiences you will ever have in videogames. Don't get me wrong, a lot of games raise interesting questions in their narrative, yet only handful (this one included) can handle them that masterfully. A remarkable game.
Also, it's quite funny that Dybowsky (the main guy) literally calls people casuals for turning the difficulty down, since the game was specifically crafted to be played at this exact difficulty.

One of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplays you'll have to suffer through (on par with Silver Case), but also one of the most compelling and WOKE stories you can experience in any media, paired up with trademark Suda art-style. Basically, it's something like watching whole season of Info Wars with Alex Jones in one sitting with no interuptions. Also The Smiths references. Also top-notch dialogue.

10/10.
One of the best RPGs you can find across last 5 years. Good story, great dialogue and interesting role playing system.

I`m very conflicted about this game. It has one of the (if not the) greatest art directions and art styles in any give piece of media, most satisfying gunplay you can get in a video game, astonishing sound design and music and it looks like piece of art with their lightning technology and sky boxes. BUT, due to Bungie`s (now that they are free from Activision we know it`s them) poor decision making from time to time game suffers from content droughts, terrible ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ storytelling and blunt characters. BUT, at the same time, they produce big chunks of amazing lore books which unravel more and more about the universe. And this lore is genuinely interesting since it can have exiting things and be this "darker" fusion of star wars, star trek and etc. Also, you need to grind a lot. Like A LOT. Gameplay loop is about doing powerfull bounties that grant you better gear, which allows you to do more content and eventually get to endgame. This can be boring as hell, BUT endgame is really good. You have 6 raids, 2 of which are the best raids Destiny ever had (even compared to King`s Fall and CIVA raid), 3 are decent and one is a bit lackluster. Also, there are 2 dungeons, nightfalls, etc. So it is worth the grind, and they are really trying hard to make this grind at least feel fun.
Right now game is in it`s best state, but that is all thanks to Forsaken+Black Armory+Opulence, hence Shadowkeep just came out. New Light is a bit better then mediocre, Forsaken is solid Forsaken+Annual Pass is great. Try it out, you will either spend here around 600 hours or drop it on the warmind expansion.
Also Crucible ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. Delete mask and mountaintop.
