Always a great time as long as there are people playing. The campaign is good too.

I haven't played in over a year before today, but I've played something like 2600 hours of destiny between launch and destiny 2 year one.

My experience coming back to destiny 2 was as follows.

Open to a cutscene with little useful information and a character I've never seen before saying no words.
Go to orbit then immediately forced into mission while being spammed with popup tutorial notifications about UI changes they've made
proceed through mission until I get to the first enemies
die in 1 hit
figure out how to leave mission
die a bunch in patrol
realise the game somehow equipped me with uncommon rarity armour which is below the minimum light level that they implemented (if the minimum is 750 then 750 = 0 and the extra numbers are just a waste of time???)
equip old gear from back when i gave a toot
realise it's still boring
quit

I went a secret way and found a bit that was supposed to be hard but was actually just unplayable and I don't have the time or energy to justify to myself continuing

So far this game is intriguing so far, which could flop. Interesting dynamics between characters, gameplay is puzzley in a usually not too difficult way. I've only died like 10 times. There are collectibles that have historical lore attached to them, and I guess if you like searching maps for things then that's a positive.

I had some crashing issues at first but I verified my files and that seemed to fix it so maybe not a strike against the game.

This was a lovely way to spend 3 hours. A sweet story, and enjoyable platforming.

Played the first 2 sequences, went to load the save and whatever section it's loading from crashes the game every time. I played this game to completion on ps4 and honestly, all I want to know is which of the retarded keyboard jockeys at Ubisoft decided that this game, with this garbage engine, needed that many thousands of NPCs which add nothing to the experience.
