Amazing old school survival horror, it's a love letter to classics like Resident Evil or Silent Hill.
It checks every need on the list: Puzzles, combat, resources management, scares (no cheap ones) and cheesy dialog.

If you're a fan of the genre think no more and get this gem.

Amazing game, flawless mechanics.

Be aware we are talking about a really old game here but all xcom lovers and even classic final fantasy fans can have a really nice surprise while trying this one.

I always get back to it from time to time.

If you loved Bastion you've got to try this.

It's essentially the same game (on the technical side) but in a sort of Van helsing/Demon Hunters universe.

During my first run which i did not finish yet I noticed a lot of Bastion influence:

Narrator: This is actually a misterious voice in the character's head but it plays exactly the same role.

Weapons/Skill system: Exactly the same, each weapon type has determined skills affecting the gameplay and allowing to create combos with weapon swap.

Controls and camera: Also the same, it's practically identical.

Maybe the only "weak" point of Victor Vran while comparing it with Bastion is that the story seems not as deep and definately not as sad, but it's still good.

Once I finish the game i'll add more info to this review

In my opinion it's a 9/10 for ARPG lovers
