Daddy Astarion and Bae'zel anytime !!!

I waited so long to get my hands on this game, it mixes open world, hunting and cooking. At start you don't get much to do, since you have to level up to get new tools and ustensils. Quest also gives you more things to buy/craft/cook. You can also date some of the npc wich is kinda nice. Further, you can also get to run your restaurant. As you explore planets and places. You meet some new monsters to hunt/cook.

The minigames are nice overall, the ship you drive is a bit drifting too much but nothing you couldn't handle. Combat may need a little makeover as for now it mostly kitting.

Can't wait to see more contents added to the game. I hope also to see a way ingame to remap controls or at least switch to Azerty/Qwerty without having to use windows command.

A really cosy game with a touch of humor.

Reminded me when I was a young guy, playing little fighters 2 on PC with my pals. Remembered how difficult the game was. The fun tweaking the CFG file to get all chars. Discovering the Firzen char and how I obtained him by random luck. Until I knew how to. I remember also the time where I was home after school; getting on MSN messenger and wizz my buddies to play. Took a sip of a rootbeer and have fun playing this game, also GunZ the Duel, and other games from that era. Old good times. Dev deserve my €uros just for all the good memeories he didn't know he created back then. Thank you Mr Wong.

Latest patch made the game literally unplayable. And don't even think about playing coop either. Game randomly crash or disconnect. And if you don't save quite regularely, you may lose multiple hours of gaming. I abandoned this game as much as the devs did.

Long story short: moves, nothing to see nor play here.

Game looked promising, lots of activities, lots of peoples to meet, heck, even own a farm and play a stardew valley clone.

BUT:

---Everything is so tedious for nothing, want to get a good job ? You have to study and wow.... Even Korean MMO are not THAT grindy.

You have to: Read news paper, wait till you're done..... Watch news on TV, wait till you're done.... Read a book, wait till you filled the bar and done, get a PC and train in coding, wait till you filled the bar and done.... get a student desk, learn to write to fill a bar and done. Now that you've spend like 20minutes CONGRATS !!!! you're now 1 point of intelligence smarter. Guess what ? 20 more to go ;) Rince and repeat till you're smart enough to get a tech job. Also it's the same for strenght: Smash Q & D till you fill bar on every gym's benches and get 1 Strenght.

What is frustrating, is my character is suposed to be a Bookworm and manage to be bored by reading book ! Imagine if Tony Hawk was bored by skating ?

---Musics are quite forgetable and tend to be few of them, leading to turn it off.

---Work: Most of them are quite not fun (duh it's work, you'll say) but the way it's played is not amusing/fun. Worse of all, some of them are bugged (butcher job is the worst, fellas) so you tend to stick to waiter, or cleaner. Tech job is too high demanding, you need to graduate, wich is quite boring (you make homework; grind Intelligence, be happy to get a good grade.... do that once a day for like a month) and require a high Intelligence stats explained earlier in this review.

---activities:
=> lockpicking is not easy, you have almost no real sign your making progress on the lock and tend to break lockpicks too easily (even with the costume)
=> Basketball is amusing a little, but clearly need more polishing
=> Hacking is boring, you wait till you're done, if you're not even 10 to 20 Intelligence, you'll be just having your crime level getting up. and lost 30seconds IRL to wait. At best you get a few dollars.
=>Painting is just a puzzle game
=> Cooking is useless, you have to do minigames with lots of ingredients to obtain a food that is not so nourishing, and cost a few bucks while you can order spaghetti and be nourished more for far less dollars. Also you have to buy all the cooking machines wich cost extra more cash.... when you can order a plate of spaghetti for 0.23% of all you need to buy to cook them up......
=> Music is tedious, the guitar will make you regret playing "Through the fire and Flames, Dragonforce" on guitar hero in hardest difficulty.
=> Fighting is meh, you have to trrain like to 20 Strenght points to manage to win the first few matches, hell, I even got beaten up by a old guy in the street like i was made of breadsticks.
=> Cracking safe is fun, you have to guess a correct combination with already fours numbers greyed out. 24 combinations possible then

Walking is slow, obtaining a vehicle require you to get a permit, wich cost a big amount of cash. Even when you get your car/bike, it cost a lots to get it upgraded and fully fonctional.

Renting the first house is nice, and it's quite easy to get enough cash to pay for your week of rent, but buying it is more complicated. Also people tend to forget to pay and get evicted. It would be better if you could manage your bank account to renew payment weekly.

Money.... well money is clearly not a problem. All you have to do is to gather 30000 dollars and play casino's slot machines. highest bid. Got two times jackpot and enough cash to buy me the fanciest home this game has to offer, and buy me a permit for my vehicles, enough spaghetti and booze so i never need to cook ever again, and be happy all the time (yup booze give mood boost)

Let's talk about moods: you need to eat, wash, be happy. nothing 3 plate of spaghettis, 2 bottle of wine and a shower can't fix. Do this regularely and you skip the mood part of the game. Play Casino multiple time and you skip the work part of the game.

Now all you got is the social experience, and it's probably the only thing made right. BUT. It's really looooooong. You want to chat, you have to clik, then click chat. Have to wait for the blablabla, then see a heart if win, or broken heart if failed. you can skip the blablabla by left clikcing, but even with that, the heart animation is long, and you have to wait for the whole talk menu to reapear and realign then ands only then you can re-click on the possible interaction.

You can also go on date, wich is nice, but if you're not smart/attractive/intelligent/funny enough you won't get good dices for the dices minigame where you have to reach a certain score to get a good date rating. The date system is nice in overall, but if you lack any of these stats quoted earlier, don't even think about it.

Getting married and having child is useless, your wife talk about her crush.... wait what ???? you can't interact with your infant.

But what I listed here, good friends, is not the worst the game had to offer.... No, no no no no.

What really was the worst, is the developper's lack of infos about the game, being in touch with his communities, showing ETA of the game while developing it.

We were fed breadcrumbs every like 6-7 months waiting an annoucement, game was delayed like 3 times for "polishing" and then no sign of life for 4-6 months bare minimum at least. Rinse and repeat, for the whole game development. While higher backers who where already playing the beta were saying to be patient... Felt like Marie Antoinette: Let them eat cake.

Also backers who did paid just enough to get the game day one did not got their game day one. Some had to wait multiple days to at least get our key. Mine was apparently already used.... So everyone was playing it, while we were waiting. Felt unfair.

So nope, I don't recommand Pixelia, nor game produced by Pixeduo Studios (coucou Kaan) and so do you.

Game is great. Hard, but great !

Obviously the game is nice in his conception, I mean a game where keep a tavern and feed your customers with food you made, the fact you can go on quest and deliver food to people outside. Sounds great, on the paper...

Once you get to explore, the map is really empty, beside the few enemies in each "biome" and the 4 forgettable npc's. The npcs who gave quest are almost usefull if you want to upgrade some of your stuff, but once you did the three to four boring quest (like preparing a erection potion... yes that type of erection) well that's all folks. that sum up to: bring me ingredient, now bring me prepared recipe, now destroy that type of enemy, now bring me back more food cause, F it, you're suposed to be my food provider, even if you have better things to do.

Even with a slight upgrade, the IA of enemies are quite simple, you just circle around and bash the button to attack and watch the poor thing dies without retaliations. And have to farm like a ♥♥♥♥♥ tons of boar/frogs/bear etc to collect enough to get some cash.

Once you unlock the farm, the scarecrow will ask you to make some weed (yes that kind of weed) and once you finish his three quest, you can now prepare to sow and plants new vegetables. hooray... BUT it's tedious as F. Not that the task is difficult, but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long for nothing to just replace every tile when you could just put seeds and water them. Wich lead to the next problem:

Everything is tedious for nothing. Most of the time it seems that the game make you do lots of useless things just to keep you playing it. Bucket of water is emptyed quite rapidly, even with the upgrade leading you to buy like three of them to be sure to get water from the well wich is slow as F. especially when you have like 15 guys waiting for their corn soup. Every machine you buy will tend to break up after ten uses. So same things, you have to mash up a button every two time your machine is in use, wasting more and more time especially when you make a multiple machines recipe. you have also to put on the menu, while it's a good idea on the paper. Well, if you don't check your inventory and Check what's still on the menu and unCheck what's not, you'll lose plenty of time too. Unless you tend to sell the same carrot juice over and over and the same frogs legs over and over. But that would make you less money on long term.

Cleaning is quite boring too, sometimes what to clean is obvious like cobweb inside the tavern, sometimes it's not, like cobweb outside the tavern. and I must say, breaking a broom for having cleansed dozens of cobweb feels odd. wich make you buy another broom. great more coins to spend.

Unlocking the pen is probably nice, but chickens tends to leave it and multiply like lemmings but their eggs is effective to sell, and when you understand that, you clearly just have to water their bowl and feed them grain and watch your profits getting real high and sell thoses eggs and never care anymore about money. Ruining the concept of keeping a tavern. Since you get too much money with egg selling.

the fact you can buy owls to do the cleaning and the service is usefull, but make for the least the game easier to deal with... nothing more or less to do. Aside from do the 3-4 quest the few npcs gave and buy more cobweb breaking broom.

If the game was an alpha build, I may recommend it. But right now, this game feel nothing more like a mobile game developed in a month like a cashgrab. Sorry but you have so many games to play that feed on tavern keeping vibes wich are better than this.

Had betray the whole city for money, re electing the bad Maire. Finished the game in less 10 minutes !

The game is nice, but I'm sorry, is it REALLY supposed to be 1.0 ? Cause after replaying, I sense no real changes.
