great game if you like strategy and planning, skillchecks in combat, and getting tricky kills. lore gets built up as you progress, and there are some interesting monologues that make your character more (or less?) human as you play. however, not paying attention for even a moment can cost you so much.

get it if you want a good challenging game that you don't need to play daily, don't if you get frustrated over dying or losing runs. again, CotDG does not take mistakes so lightly

Solid building mechanics, awesome skill-based fighting mechanics, rewarding exploration and hunting content, satisfying atmospheres (in and out of battles). I only wish we could fish with spears.
