Planetside 2 is a game I've played for a week, uninstalled, just to instal it once again 2 months later. It delivers that massive, perpetuating war that I've always wanted. While tactics usually rely on numbers rather than real strategy, the gigantic battles are truly intense, and full your gut with a sense of awe. I love this, I only wish more people would play.

NO WEAPON IN THE GAME IS BETTER FOR A NEW PLAYER THAN THE DEFAULT STARTING GUN.
There is no modern gun progression - guns cost an extremely large amount of currency for a reason - so you can take your time deciding what playstyle you're comfortable with, and then trade in your jack-of-all-trades starting weapon for a gun that fits your preffered style better.

I believe it's great, but I'd love to see more player community and interaction.

It's pretty fun, it's a great way to spend time with friends who are too weird to see in person
