It's all fun and games until you first venture into the plains way under prepared with a buddy to only get murderfied by a Deathsquito. The name is very fitting on that guy.

Seriously though, this game has it's hiccups (which is expected on an EA game) and may not run on the highest graphics settings but if the devs keep doing what they are doing with the constant updates and listening to what the community is saying then this game has much promise.

Oh yeah, you can also poop and then use your poop to make a farm.

The devs actually care about the community and have had an update every Thursday for the last who knows how long.

It has become a big problem with some of the other early access games (you know who you are) where they get your money, promise all of these features, delete and ban you for making constructive critiques, and leave you with a half put together game that is nothing like promised.

I never understood this way of doing business and have since become vary wary of any early access game that looks too good to be true. Well Space Engineers completely shatters that shady way of doing business and makes you feel like part of the community.

IMO you are getting one hell of a deal if you purchase SE right now, or even once it gets out of EA as there are plenty of crap AAA titles that aren't worth the plastic wrapping they came in.

With about 200 hours in I feel like there are still hundreds and hundreds of hours left for me to put in this game, and that only increases once I see what the current weeks updates are.

I bought this game on the cheap for a couple of bucks and while I haven't played but a few hours, i'm finding this to be a pretty fun game. Being able to send your minions to do your dirty work is a cool aspect of the game and I can't wait to finish this one up and move on to Overlord 2.

While I don't see there being much replayability, I only spent a few bucks and in my opinion got a pretty sweet bargain for a game I didn't really have high hopes going into.
