A Classic Reborn – A Timeless Escape Worth Every Hour

This is hands down one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Back in the days, I spent weeks grinding through it on PlayStation, completely immersed in the world — picking up on every subtle clue, every hidden path and room. It’s one of those rare games that pulls you in and doesn’t let go, not because it’s loud or flashy, but because it gets you.

If you're burned out from toxic PvP lobbies or just need a break from the usual online chaos, this game is the emotional reset button you didn’t know you needed. It’s a rollercoaster — not just of action, but of atmosphere and meaning.

Whether you're returning out of nostalgia or discovering it for the first time, this game proves that some titles truly are timeless and in a time when our free hours are limited, this one feels worth it, again.

Assassin’s Creed Origins was developed using Ubisoft's AnvilNext 2.0 engine, and I expected to see scenes filled with crowded, improved AI characters alongside the important story of how the Assassin Brotherhood began. Unfortunately, it fails to meet expectations.

Ancient Egypt seems exciting at first. However, the endless deserts and flat landscapes quickly become monotonous. One of the best aspects of Assassin’s Creed is climbing tall buildings to enjoy breathtaking views. In Origins, though, the highest points are mud houses and pyramids with slopes around a 45-degree angle. Without the thrill of exploring towering structures, the world feels somewhat underwhelming.

The story, which focuses on the birth of the Assassin Order, comes across as shallow and rushed. It had the potential to be a powerful and emotional journey but falls flat. Instead of engaging storytelling, the game relies heavily on numerous side quests. These tasks often feel repetitive and exist more to stretch the game’s playtime than to add meaningful content.

If you’re interested in Egyptian mythology and culture, Origins might still offer some enjoyment. However, for long-time fans seeking a standout entry in the series, the +150 hour grind feels unnecessary. Other Assassin’s Creed titles do a far better job of capturing the essence of the franchise.

This app is charming, but for designing a landscape scene, I can easily use Unity 3D with free basic low-poly objects and apply some shaders. Some may enjoy spending hours on this, for me, it lacks the necessary depth.
