Gf and I lost 120 hours to this masterpiece. 10/10, GOTY, Top 5 of all time.

I see where the devs are going with this so I'm giving it a thumbs up. But in current state, the game gets repetitive really quickly. The shooting feels decent, the sounds are pretty nice, you can really tell when someone's trying to sneak up on you. The AI can be customized a lot, probably the best AI around in these types of games.

But.. there's small things just missing that really hit immersion, like seemingly no blood decals or pools, no impact decals on walls, ladders that look climbable that aren't, windows that look like you can crawl through but you can't. And after a few rounds, it's super repetitive with the same few objectives on the same map.

I wouldn't jump to buy this game now, especially if you're playing solo.

Good:
Game is good looking, runs well on DX11 / high / DLSS quality
Skills feel pretty good, expected much worse based on other reviews and surprised that this use to be an auto combat mobile oriented game

Mid:
Story - basically just spam F and skip it all, it's what you'd expect from a KR MMO, the story isn't interesting
Progression - it's a bit overwhelming with a billion currencies, upgrading, transfering, different tiers, it's a lot and I'm still figuring it out
Content - I've only done coop dungeons, open dungeons, guild raids, open world bosses, 1:1 floor bosses from leveing. It's all just okay, I don't feel excited to go do more

Bad:
There's a bunch of content especially with the expansion, but none of it really stands out.
Progression is complicated and needlessly tedious, I haven't even touched Runes and Artifacts but KR MMOs loves to add progression which really just means complexity for the sake of it
World is beautiful but there's really not much to do other than collecting codexes, no real life skills whatsoever
At 40 hours I can already see how the game will become incredibly repetitive. When I want to play more I'm capped on some sorta currency that lets me keep doing content.

Conclusion:
It's a free to play MMO with no need of purchasing anything for up to at least 40 hours and level 55. There's a coupon code event that gives you tier 2 gear that allows you to complete 80% of content. I don't think this is going to be a huge mainstream MMO any time soon or ever, but if you're missing MMOs and want something new this is worth a try.

it's good, but the survival elements are tedious if you're not into that sort of stuff. This isn't my genre of games but something keeps me going back.

Campaign is hard and that's a good thing

The gameplay is good, but everything else around it feels ancient. Mods update constantly, take forever to install, half the time you're sitting in a queue, and when it gets to your place there's some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ error that makes no sense. The inventory management is a pain in the ass, everytime you join a new server you spend forever trying to gear up. The game doesn't try to give you any direction. But once you're past all that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this game is immersive as ♥♥♥♥. But the fact that Bohemia hasn't figured out how to make a good user experience for the last decade or so just makes me not want to recommend it.

This is the greatest game for driving enthusiasts. It takes some modding and tweaking to get it to where you want but once you get there it's endless fun.
