I met Emily in 2003. On Gaia Online, back when it was still go-Gaia. I talked her through her ♥♥♥♥ relationship in 2004. She talked me through the crushing insecurities of 2005. We kissed in Central Park in 2006, while she was on a school trip. I left my girlfriend in 2007, and went to spend a weekend at GMU with Emily. It was so awkward it took us years to talk about it. Once, that AIM beep made my heart soar. By the time I uninstalled AIM, it was like a funeral dirge. This takes me way, way back, and I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
