Only 7 hours in which is barely enough for a game of this kind, but I'm enjoying it. Never played any other extraction shooter but this, to me, feels like the best parts of Apex Legends mixed with a very immersive premise and setting, astonishing aesthetic, rewarding progression and a lot to learn. Slowly discovering what to do, unraveling the story bit by bit, finding new items, completing objectives that lead to amazing drops, it all just clicks for me.
Also, I can assure you there is absolutely no game out there that looks anything like this. The graphic design, environments, characters, music... every aesthetic aspect of the game is one of the most unique I've ever seen.
Finally, while I see a lot of people comparing it to Arc Raiders, I can't compare because I haven't played Arc, but by what I've seen, both games are similar and yet so different to the point where I think both can coexist and thrive. I seriously hope this game does good because if we keep getting new content at a steady pace, it will easily be a truly amazing game.

After playing Village, I was a bit confused about the direction the story was going in. This game brings virtually every single loose end and ties them all up together in a very campy, but very enjoyable campaign (very Resident Evil).
As it does with the story, so does with the gameplay. Grace's parts are the perfect fusion of both styles of survival horror in the series: the puzzles from 1, 2, 3 and CV with the cowering fear and escaping/hiding from 7. Leon's parts are his gameplay from 4 with very little change, but what is there is very enjoyable.
I wasn't expecting Requiem to be this good, and as a fan of the series, this is definitely a must-play. While it can be very fanservice-y, I'd say Resident Evil has earned the right to be very fanservice-y at least for one game.
Stoked to see where the series goes now

Early Access Review
To be honest it's not that amazing yet, it's lacking tons of features that would make me freaking GLUED to the screen like other roguelikes do (more meta progression, unlocking new stuff, cool events, more robust objective design, better animations, etc), but as an early access game, this is pretty promising. Play it for a while to get a grip on the gameplay and come back once in a while to see what's new, that's what I'm going to do

Imagine if Overwatch 2 was a good game. This is that game.

What can be said about this game.
Great open world design, great progression systems, writing is excellent, OST is a banger, Geralt is cool as ♥♥♥♥. Having read the books recently, playing this game is an absolute treat. It treats the source material with so much respect that it actively enriches what's in the books.
