Deeper mechanics than Warband. You need to buy horses for your nomad riders, instead of raising favor of villages you now raise favor of people who provide you the troops, you now have your own clan where you can for example set positions of your companions such as clan surgeon (miss you my man Jeremus).

Some cool QoL improvements like you can see who's in taverns before going there, instead of running to talk to NPCs in villages, castles and towns, you can now just click their portraits and the game will instantly take you to them.

The game still has butter in it. Lots of it.

My only problem is that I seem to have gotten console release of Bannerlord by mistake. I have GTX 1070, i7-7700 and 16gb of ram and I'm getting 40-50 fps in sieges on lowest graphical settings. Pls TaleWorlds devs if you're reading this send me a PC copy not console one. Thanks guys.

Best hockey on pc since days of NHL 04 and EHM 07. Seeing how EA talks all the time about franchise return on PC being a possibility but never actually delivering on these words and 2K which seems to be focusing more on mobile hockey it's probably going to stay that way for some time.

Changes from EHM 07 aren't exactly enormous but with workshop support modding is easier than ever and it does get some changes like (in my opinion) prettier UI and bunch of bugfixes.

If you are a fan of the sport and don't mind in-depth management buying this is a no brainer.

PROS:
Great shotgun
Decent perk deck
Ron Perlman

CONS:
Ron's lines sound as if they were written by fanatic underage Call of Duty player and mostly revolve about sucking his fat d*ck and overusing the word f*ck. It's somewhat obvious that Overkill was counting on people buying this DLC purely because of Ron and put no effort into his voice acting script.

Overall this DLC is worth it since it introduces shotgun with damage comparable to double-barrels and perk deck that's handy if you're playing with experienced team. If you don't care about any of that, buying this DLC would be a mistake.

Payday 2 is a great game that brings a lot on the table. Most of the time I find that games of this genre make individual players performance pretty much defined by what weapons and equipment he/she brought in. For instance cheaper weapons would mean more difficult combat. The approach of Payday 2 in this regard is quite different. Developers dropped realism in order to balance the weapons so no weapon would be significantly weaker than the others and you won't ever get to point where you have no reason at all to bring your favorite weapon on the heist because of having horrible stats when compared to others.

If you prefer doing things stealthy, great amount of heists allow this. The stealth mode is very basic though and it's nothing too unique. Main goal is to avoid being detected more than 4 times by guards or 1 time by a camera. If guard detects you, you are forced to put him down and answer his pager in very small time window. If stealth mode fails, you will be able to complete the heist using the classic "loud" approach however that doesn't happen often since when you go on stealth all people have builds including weapons focused on stealth and unless you are very close to final objective you aren't going to last long in the middle of police assault considering you are on a hardest difficulty where people usually go stealthing. Keep in mind that I made this sound very simple but there are also things I haven't mentioned like concealment of your weapons and detection rate in play here.

The game features multiple skill trees divided to different branches so you can make just about any kind of build you could imagine. It doesn't matter if you like slower playstyle with lots of armor or very fast action. It doesn't matter if you like using dual wielding pistols or prefer shotguns. Payday 2 has you covered.

On top of skills game lets you chose between good amount of perk decks each focusing on different bonuses. Some are based on team cooperation (I've got to say game could use more of these) giving your teammates damage absorption or damage reduction, some are based on armor regeneration or health regeneration and then there is a perk deck giving bonuses for stealth players.

Game also has decent modding support which helps you customize it to your liking. Devs are fine with it as long as it doesn't affect gameplay.

There is one thing about Payday 2 that I find to be a fitting reason to make this review negative. I however don't believe that any game should be rated purely because of it.

A community. It's a toxic mess.

I'll give you just couple of examples so you get the point (there are a lot more problems with this community than that):

Host speaks foreign language and expects everybody else to understand it otherwise you get kicked.
You get constantly ordered around under threats of being kicked.
You get kicked at the very end of 30-60 minute heist for no reason at all. You won't get the reward for heist but host will.
Host uses autokick mod kicking out people with certain builds that host doesn't like or set it on some ridiculous limit like 400-600 hours or you get kicked.
Despite the game being coop nobody actually cooperates. People just run around and getting downed on other side of map and ragequitting afterwards so they could write a story on 4chan about how rest of the team sucked and they behaved like virtual hero.
People considering themselves the only good player around and everybody else is just bunch of noobs.
Hosts using mods that display message "steam couldn't authenticate your id" for all people they kick. People then of course go and complain to developers that there is something wrong with their game but in fact it was just host being a d-bag.

I could write a whole novel about how toxic this community is. Find a friends to play with. If you won't then I wish you best of luck to find that 1% of lobbies where people don't behave like as******.

Early Access Review
3 years of waiting on reimplementation of NPCs, instead we get update that resizes trees...
Endless early access doesn't help much too..

You think DayZ standalone takes too long to develop? This is whole another level. This game is about 5 years in development and still nowhere near final version.

Two good heists and granade launcher with fast reload. Some people claiming the heists have no real plot might have a point (even though its arguable) but if you're like me and only care about popping helmets, just grab it.
Also, no random fps drops in these heists (at least I didn't encounter any)
