objectively the game is good but so much of it centers around healers, nothing really truly matters but healers and supporting your healers so that you can out-healer the enemy healers, and I already hate anyone who can heal my enemy in these games

also hawkeye continues to be a 1 shot character and i'm just wondering who looked at the Huntsman from TF2 one-shotting people from behind corners and thought this was fun

honestly the game overall is probably fine but I fell off during Ultron's season and I don't realistically see myself coming back, but i'd still suggest trying it yourself if you're already interested in it to see if it's a game you'd like. Worst case scenario you get a couple seasons out of it and fall off and that's still pretty good, right?

also ngl matchmaking feels awful and I can't tell if the matchmaking is actually rigged like people say or not, but it does not FEEL good no matter how you slice it.

let's keep it simple: fun little game of making poker hands in order to score points, crazy modifiers you can get on cards and "jokers" that effect the cards you play, etc etc.

Buy it and play it for an hour, it should run on basically anything that can run Steam and you will know if this is the game for you within the first run or two, which is well within the refund window.

it's kingdom hearts running on PC and open to mods, i can't not recommend that, HOWEVER

this version of the game has some crashing issues, possibly tied to alt-tabbing but i'm not certain. And some people are having much worse experiences depending on hardware and whatnot.

If you just want to play the unaltered games I would probably suggest getting the console version of these collections, but you want any kind of mods/enhancements or just want to play on PC it's USUALLY good enough for me. I have personally had it crash on occasion from trying to load the save menu in KH1, annoying when you're struggling at a part due to starting w/Staff. But I also tend to alt-tab a lot and when I avoided doing that it was stable and fine for me.

It's an extremely frenetic evolution on Wario Land 4's gameplay structure that's already so great, combined with the ability to (at least vertically) perform a shinespark from the Metroid games, and the game oozes a ridiculous and off-kilter charm throughout it's art, it's humor, it's stage theming...

Basically the game has exactly the kind of feel you're probably expecting from watching videos or looking at screenshots. Extremely recommended.

While the game has it's flaws, it's honestly a pretty zen experience exploring the islands for things, and the cyber space levels are both good for bite-sized speedruns and are just fun trying to spot what level design it's calling back to. Also the characterization is great and while the lore callbacks are sometimes a bit egregious, it's really fulfilling to see all these events a lot of sonic fans have played through be treated as relevant information that the characters remember and compare against.

It's probably a bit mid if you're not a sonic fan but if you do enjoy sonic or the characters then this will likely be a surprising treat.
