More studios like Sandfall and Larian who are making amazing games with more content, at a lower price, with the player in mind. Nothing you'll see from AAA games these days.**

I must say that this game's story is probably one of my favorites that I've experienced in recent years. It really pulls at your heartstrings at times and the undertones are deep and even dark at times. Without spoiling anything, I started the game a bit confused with the story, it was mysterious. Why is this happening? What is this world? That is soon answered with an incredible build up and beautiful foreshadowing through little tidbits you discover throughout the world. Amazing writing.

When it comes to actual gameplay, especially after finding out that a lot of junior devs were brought onto it as their first project, I have to say that, despite the minuscule bugs here and there, it is an absolutely spectacular experience with a fresh combat system that is unlike anything you've seen in other turn-based combat games. The quick time events along with dodging + parrying add onto that experience to make it even more encapsulating and challenging.

I was happy to see a NG+ option after finishing the game, and I'll definitely be running through it again trying to get every achievement and unlockable with due time; the flexibility is there as well since there's so many ways to build your character to do insane amounts of damage to clear through the toughest enemies.

Graphically, this really makes UE5 shine, the visuals are breathtaking every single turn you take. No matter where you're at on the map in this game, I guarantee there will always be one part of the area that takes your breath away. When it comes to the soundtrack, holy !@#$, I definitely think this is going to win best soundtrack for 2025. I can't say I have ever heard such an immaculate soundtrack - it adds on so much to the excitement of the combat and the depth of the cutscenes.
