Like many others say, the game is good enough until you realize how unforgiving the checkpoint system is. Most reviews I see talk about this. You reach the first really tough boss, end up losing over and over again and are reset to a checkpoint that is miles away to walk all the way back and try again.

This is a souls like game that instead of offering you retries, punishes you for dying. Oh you lost? Now walk all the way back from beginning. Also you lose all your upgrades until you reach the point where you last lost. Then HOPE you don't die again to waste more time traveling back to the fight AGAIN.

IT's a cute game, good music, good graphics, fun game play. AWFULLY unforgiving checkpoint system with no retry option for tough battles. Quality of life is VERY low on this game. I may not play again for a long time if ever. I've wasted my money.
