I don't really know how to put it except that it is an absolute roller coaster of stories and experiences that put you right in the shoes of every character, if you so choose. I highly recommend, left me sitting silently as revelations about the characters and story along with things from my own life hit me every time something new appeared. Although some stories feel like there's something to be desired, especially given other stories, they all give you an understanding of that particular character. Many mixed thoughts and emotions when it came to some of the stories, though I will admit a few hit me harder than the rest.

Smaller gripes (Mild spoilers for mechanics)
The controls are not very easy to understand, however, they are also decently intuitive. Things that are straightforward like the page flips of the books and such are just moving the mouse or pressing A/D in the respective directions. But some more complex ones like turning knobs or the can opener are more confusing.
The forced camera movement for some text gets pretty annoying pretty fast, I get that you need to see the text and follow it but sometimes I'm legitimately just trying to look at some small detail of the rooms but get the camera yanked away because I moved too close. I would understand it better if it didn't have a small trigger box, that way you aren't already looking at something else before being dragged away. So instead the trigger being bigger means the text is revealed sooner, allowing the player to see and understand the larger overarching text before going to look at the smaller details un-inturrupted. But maybe that's just me

Play this in one go if possible, 2-3 hours roughly, go in as blind as you can, preferably solo or with a few friends in a vc.

There is currently too much similar or ripped from other games for me to enjoy playing this, I'd wait till they add either replacement to make it all original or for them to revamp features to not be copies from those other games. Proceed with caution.

EDIT: Welp, I can say I thoroughly enjoy the game. It's genuinely fun and has enough of a deviation from similar games, other than the frankly copy paste style of ui at times. I now recommend the game, pray it doesn't fall into development hell with it's early access profits and hope it continues improving.

The Radius -> dreadful, unnerving, beautiful

The Enemies -> terrifying, sneaky, dangerous

The guns -> loud, powerful, fun

The Story -> intriguing, mysterious, give me more

Overall -> I love this game

Terrifying on your first ever playthrough but it pays off extremely well in the end, the next playthroughs make you feel like a god and yet you still will crap your pants at some things. It's an explorer's dream and filled with beautiful game design and music, even with some annoying bugs it's wonderfully entertaining.

An amazing story driven game that got me in tears, very meta and close with the player. My favourite game by far.
