Watching this game crawl it's way out of an early grave and into a late one has been excruciating. The core gameplay loop is phenomenal and the art team has been knocking it out of the park with the different spartan armor sets. But that's it. 3 "new" guns and one was a slightly different battle rifle, another was a slightly different assault rifle/smg and the last one is pretty sick, but has been released when the game is in it's most dead and unoptimized-on-PC state.

I got into this game during the beta and everything ran smooth as butter. Fast forward now and my frame rate fluctuates wildly between 20-70 fps every game, there's terrible frame times even at high fps and it looks terrible compared to newer games that look and run better.

Halo Studios can try and hand wave the 343 name into the ether, but the stink is still all over them. I have no hope for the new game given the disastrous way this one was handled, admin shake-up or not. This game has been a painful relationship. No one should bother with it now.

Old school FPS design philosophy injected into the current era. Levels branch out in fun, interesting ways filled with little secrets and easter eggs for those looking for them.

Gameplay is a ton of fun, the dialogue is cheesy and stupid but also just a good time in general. I don't know man this ♥♥♥♥ is just fun as hell and knows exactly what it is. The graphics are a mix of really nice and "Unreal Engine 3 on a budget" but they fit the game very well.

An easy buy. Highly recommended to anybody who's a fan of FPS's that aren't Call of Duty. Just go ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up.

Legit think it's better than BF3. So many more "Battlefield moments" happen in it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic game and Arica Harbor will NEVER DIE.

One of the greatest games this gen. L4D2 is basically this game now, but all of my memories were with the first one. Good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times.
