5. launcher says "must verify account"
6. okay, i go to email and put in code to verify
7. launcher says i must own game to launch
8. i own the game, decide to try again
9. launcher says i must verify my account
10. bored as hell, go to email again, get code, smash verify button
11. launcher says i have to own the game
12. look on internet
13. 20 minutes of searching, find 10 possible solutions, let's invest hours and try to make it work
14. go back to steam, open elite dangerous
15. can't open, steam says "elite dangerous is already running"
16. check task manager, elite dangerous is not running
17. wait and try again
18. "elite dangerous is already running"
19. ask for refund

i heard this game was challenging, i couldn't even get past the launcher 10/10
