It's not a good idea to put any unique feature that can give you an unfair advantage behind a paywall in a game that has, such a strong PVP community.

First of all yes, the negative reviews are correct the game isn't optimized and the devs never claimed it will be a smooth experience at start of Early Access this is why it's planned to be optimized in the Winter update as that's when they will attempt to get Steamdeck certified.

Second of all it's Early Access if you want a smooth, and crash free experience that Obsidian delivers wait till the full release buy Grounded 1 and see how much potential this game has in the future.

The game delivers the experience expected, the new additions are great, the map feels more open world, the combat is more engaging.

Developers have folded and listen to the players that just want to complete the game and don't see the core concept of the product that they bought. This is a PVE game where you have the safety of building in the Hagga Basin where you can keep all your loot in the protected area of the world. That said you can complete the PVE experience and story without having to leave Hagga Basin T5 gear is more than enough to beat the easy Hagga Basin dungeons and bosses.

To get this out of the way PVP is already nerfed, you cant take other peoples gear as they respawn with it, you barely lose anything if you die, as the only thing you drop is raw materials and Solari maybe you lose an Ornithopter in the process. That isn't even a big loss as it takes 30 mins to farm for and build a new Ornithopter.

What people fail to understand that the PVP side of the game allows you to progress to the higher tier of T6 equipment that can only be obtained by going into the Deep Desert, trading directly with other players or by using the in the games built in in game Marketplace. The whole concept was to have people form alliances network, make friends, build Guilds in the Deep Desert so that you can access the Tier 6 content as a reward for taking the risk and participating in the Great War between the Houses. Plus if you look at the T6 equipment you will notice that everything in that Tier revolves around PVP anyway, you are not going to use a Sandcrawler in Hagga Basin, you don't need OP T6 gear to kill an NPC.

Question for PVE players: You complete the story, build your beautiful base, get T6 gear and equipment and then what? You going to uninstall and quit the game because there is nothing to do after that.

Developers have killed the game by listening to their fanbase that does not understand anything about replayability or a concept of a endgame which is supposed to be hard, unpredictable risky and interesting.

If you played Elden Ring, you will enjoy a fun simplified version of it. You can still play as a solo, although the time restrictions means you have to complete each run as efficiently and effectively as possible. Learning the bosses patterns takes more time, because if you fail in this game, you need to start the whole run over again, which is fine if you have the patience and drive to improve.

I would recommend this to a newer player that wants to get into a Soulslike game, as it considered by most people to be the easiest game made by From Software.

Very chill game best choice for people that like to relax after a long day at work/school. Astonishing environments and biomes, especially Caelid with its amazing fauna. I always feel bad about killing the beautiful creatures around that area. Make sure to check out Caelid as soon as you load into this game.

Elden Ring is a must have if you are a casual gamer and just want to have some mindless fun.

If you run a dedicated server your progress can be wiped at any time. The devs are making sure to actively ignore the reported bug that has been present for 5 years!!

A critical bug is not being addressed by the devs. This alone should get you thinking if picking up Sons of the Forest will be a good idea.

Most climactic game I have every played, the 1980s theme of the game is spot on. It reflects the style of 1980s movies, and culture. I recomend this game for everyone that likes FPS games.
