Not working for HL1, useless

Tried the demo for fun, left after 10 minutes.

The Mass Effect trilogy is, without exaggeration, the best series of games I've ever experienced in my life so far.

Few other games have made me laugh, stress out, or genuinely care about fictional characters the way this one does. The Normandy ends up feeling like home, the crew starts to feel like actual people you know, and every mission just drags you deeper into a universe you don’t want to leave.

Now that I'm done with it, I feel like I just have to accept that no other game is ever going to hit me like this again.

I randomly bought these games as a pack back in 2021 for $7. I never really paid attention to them until now, and DAMN, I didn’t expect them to be this surprising — the second one especially.

Of course, they’re not the best games ever made, but having just finished both, I can honestly say they gave me an experience I really enjoyed, especially considering the price I paid.

Batman: The Telltale Series took me on a story I wasn’t expecting. Going in completely blind, I thought it would be just a classic Batman story, but it turned out to be much more interesting and engaging than I initially imagined.

These games don’t take a lot of time to finish (unfortunately, if you ask me); my total playtime for both stories was only 22 hours.

Honestly, for the price and the experience, I’d recommend these games to anyone who loves a strong story and tough choices — even if their impact is often more about character interactions and specific scenes than the overall plot. My review for the second game will go into more detail about the deeper storylines and character development.
