This review is on Hunt: Showdowns latest update 1896. I have more than 120h in the new update only on the past 2 weeks.

Hunt Showdown is one of the best or not the best PvPvE Extraction shooter out there until this date.
Best gun sounds and pvp battle in the market.
It's sadly become worse after the update (which was needed to keep the game alive).
The game in its current state is an alpha or an early access version. It's so broken it's almost unplayable. Crytek has alot to do to get it good again. And my suggestion is that they would close down the game until it's fixed! They say every thursday they are making hotfixes, sure yes this is needed, but it's far to little. It's better for them to close it down, and fix alot more before bringing it online again.
The love & hate for this game is blended all together, and at lately it's becoming more on the hate side of things.

New bugs & glitches that makes the game broken:
1. Red Cursor stuck in-game, annoying but not game breaking, to fix this you need to restart the whole game. (common)
2. After leaving dark sight there is a red or/and a pruple flash across the screen. (common)
3. Freezing in-match, only way to fix is to restart and reconnect. (common)
4.Lobby failure? Mostly common when searching a match as trios. No fix, just restart the whole game. (common)
5.Weapon model not showing (takes long time to render). (common)
6. Nvidia Shadowplay dosen't work if you have HDR applied. Dosen't matter if you try different settings or reinstalling geforce experience. Works with other games though. (common)
7. After unlocking things from the new battle pass, you cant see them in your inventory (characters/charms etc.) Restart the game!!!! (common)
8. Inspecting team loadouts in lobby, it kicks you out of inspection mode after 0.5 seconds. Everytime someone changes something in their loadout. Annoying as hell. (All the time)
9.Rendering problems (floors etc.) (common)
10. After finding a match as trios, upon starting the match, whole team is kicked out and can't reconnect. Fix is to leave and search for a new game. (common)
11. Some compounds are super laggy and has alot of frame drops, most compounds not affected. This seem to be time to time becauuse somettimes you can be in these compounds without any framedrops and sometimes you get 40 fps (Grizzly's lodge & Graystone pit) (common)
12.Ui overlay bug, it keeps showing all the ui overlapping each other in the menu making it unreadable and unable exit out of it. AS USUAL, RESTART THE GAME!
13.Unable to go out out from last match stats, when entering the window where you see bounty / hunt dollars collect etc. There is no exit button to lobby. Have not occurred to me yet but seems quite common for others.
14. As a prestige 100 player you can theoretically prestige again to reach P101. A mod on their official discord said it was a bug.
15. If you're prestige 100 and click on your own name where your in-game profile shows, the last digit of the 100 can't be displayed, so it showcases you as prestige 10. Probably the new UI doesn't have enough space there to showcase the last digit.
16. Above your ammunition you normally see the distance in meters for your bullet drop (only when you ADS). Sometimes it isn't showcased above your ammo but heads to the right bottom corner of your monitor which can be a little bit annoying.
17.Medkits that are spawned on the ground, are sometimes spawned in rubbish piles so they are inaccessible.
18.If you equip a pp remade loadout with for example 2 ammo boxes you will have to reequip them, and the game swallows 2 extra ammo boxes so you use up 4?
19.When using the beetle, in beetle view, two black stripes is on each side of the screen making the view half of the screen?
20. Can't see enemies bodies just floating heads. like wtf man.
21. VOIP not working at all anymore, Can't hear teammates nor enemies only people can hear me, totally broken.

The list is to long to continue..

The new UI is annonying and has features that dosent do anything at all like favouring a premade loadout.
Nerf or remove completely rocket launcher and rpg's. Oh i mean the crossbow and bow AKA cheatingbows.
The few players that actually pay alot of money for the skins (i am one of them) is wondering when you are going to release skins for different drilling types or like the bornheim .5 extended, the weapon has been out for several years like wtf.
Other things that are bad but intended to be bad?
1. There is no way to speed up mission summary.
2. You can't see your teammates mmr range or character level.
3. Traits is always sort by rank, not by price like regular hunt so it all just mashes together, you can change this, butt only temporarily, if your game crash (as it does) you have to rechange everytime you start the game up again.
4. There is no actually way to see your current MMR range anymore, not even with attributes.xml

120h in the new update, probably restarted the game over 100 times already. It's getting way out of hand!

Wow! 3 weeks of incredibly good gameplay. Wish I started earlier. I'ts like you meet a girl and you already know from the start that she is going to break up with you on September 27th 2023 at 9am. Some times we'd fight and you'd rage, but that's just a part of our relationship. So sad that they sunset this. I wish they would sell it like it is or just sp/co-op pve but it wouldn't be the same game but still worth buying and playing in that case. Thanks for your time.. would definitely play this more if i could.

Before playing Prey i did not get my hopes up. But after playing the story-rich 9/10 Single player i have now changed my mind. It is as good (both worse and better) than the Arkane Studios Dishonored which i really enjoyed. I would definitely give this Remake that both has the joy of dishonored and the cool aura of space & horror. They made this game super good. Played the story twice with each abilities to go after on each. One stealth and good ending and one weapon spray with bad ending. Though i must say Prey: Mooncrash was just exhausting after a couple off hours and Prey: Typhoon hunter should be removed from steam or free 2 play because its crap prophunt with another uglier game engine and also no players at all = Dead game.
Though the original Story (of this remake) is super good which i recommend highly!

Very broken! wasn't able to play multiplayer nor singleplayer. white/black boxes all over the screeen. unable to join other players and more cons. Don't buy this remastered version.
