the game is really really good but the matchmaking is terrible

that's a great game, as a rhythm game fan i really enjoy a lot of the tunes on the base game, it's my first contact with the djmax franchise and it already left me a good impression, but i admit that i WOULDN'T have bought this if i knew beforehand that it unfortunately has always-online drm...that is just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid and i only recommend it if you can get past that, since when i found out i had already 3 in-game hours i couldn't refund the game, so now i've decided to just accept my fate.

having said all of that, i did bought the muse dash and v expansion packs and found that they were worth the price and now i want to buy the legacy bundle in order to have the songs of the psp games and djmax trilogy available, as i found the game really enjoyable, the charts are REALLY well made and the song selection has a toooon of variety, there is a bit of everything for everyone here, so if you're a flithy casual or a really hardcore player, kb or pad player, everyone is capable of having fun with this title!

always-online drm aside, i do highly recommend you to pick it up, but only on sales, as i think the base price is just completely not worth it, the same can be said of the expansions. also, do your search to see what songs you're most interested in before buying any of them so you won't regret it later, as this game has a ton of dlc.

i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this dlc, i bought vip edition and forgot to disable it before downloading the game and now i have over 20 achievements with 2 hours of gameplay because this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unlocked every single one of the unlockables, what is even the point of this crap dude

this is one of the best puzzle games i've ever played, too bad i am way too dumb to play this properly so i gotta undo my actions 948129478 times until i get them right from the night 5 onward
still was a blast to play, the gameplay is rock solid and the story is really good with some insane twists right near the end, got me hooked the entire time, highly recommend it to any fan of atlus's games, puzzle games or just a really good and solid story in general

literally impossible to play this game for me because it's frying my cpu for some unknown reason, literally no game ever did this to my cpu but it gets to 95-98c in less than 10 minutes, there is NO REASON for this to happen bro, even on the lowest settings it still happens

tried control ultimate edition with everything on ultra + ray tracing on medium and it doesn't get nearly as high, genuinely what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on here
