Welcome to my profile! I really appreciate you dropping by. Have fun and feel safe here :spiffo:

I'm a young woman from Germany who loves artsy, atmospheric and puzzle games. If you're interested in my latest game recommendations, feel free to check out this box for some short reviews and the box below for a more specific review of a game I currently recommend.

If you want to share your opinion with me (in a respectful way) or have your own recommendations, I'd be happy to hear about them and might check out the game :)

:hadesbird: Latest recommendations :hadesbird:

- Against the Storm (rouge-like city builder, survival game, nice simplistic style and great gameplay)

- Unheard (accoustic detective game, unique gameplay mechanics, fantastic voice acting)

- The Roottrees are Dead (deductive detective game, simply amazing in what it does, for fans of Return of the Obra Dinn and Her Story)

I love this game! It's relaxing and cozy, but not boring. Thank goodness, because this balance is very hard to find in the cozy games genre. How many times did I like the premise and asthetic of a "cozy game", only to feel unchallenged and bored after just an hour... thanks to the book recommendation feature, this is not the case here. I love how you're able to recommend and browse through real titles. And it's not always as easy as you might think - I like books and most titles I have at least heard of or read myself and some wishes still made me think quiet a bit or choose wrongly.

Customer : I want a tragic story and I like some good old classics. But it has to have a happy ending.
Me : Steppenwolf is depressing and tragic. Did Hesse's Steppenwolf really have an happy ending, though? I guess so. There you go.
Customer : We definitely have different definitions of HAPPY ending. *leaves shop bookless*

At the same time, a guy wanted a book about nature, preferably a factual book. He was happy with The Lorax.

If you love books and like to read from time to time, this game hits the mark. You don't have to be an avid, daily reader or literature fanatic to enjoy this game, but some affinity helps. If the thought of you reading a book besides a fire in a cold winter night, or spending a day in a compfy bookstore, sounds warm and cozy to you - congrats you found yourself a new, precious game! You can feel the love the developers put into this and it does not feel unfinished. Only thing I'm hoping for in the future - updates or even an extension with more (real) titles. That would be awesome.
