I could be uncharitable and call the bad reviews cooked iPad babies, but that will not enamour you to the rest of what I'd like to say.

I will say that I do understand some of the negative reviews, there is definitely a kind of person for whom the "roguelike" elements are a distraction for the pure puzzle solving, but for me it worked perfectly. The randomness, the daily resetting, they all built on the core premise of the game and every puzzle that does not benefit from being repeated day after day is permanent.

The game is slow, the game is deliberate, and you may not like that, but I saw the ending after 12 hours and I honestly don't feel like that length was padded out, and I still have a lot of game and post-game to see. I took notes (a lot of notes) and I didn't have to look anything up or even feel like I was stuck to the point that I *should* look something up.

It's not a *pure* puzzle game, no, but it's also not a true roguelike, a true escape room game, or anything really. It truly is a unique experience and I really don't think that if by the time 90 minutes rolls around you will be on the fence about it. so by all means use that Steam refund window.

Oh, I almost went the whole review without typing "The Witness" but it is a bit like the Witness in that If you bounce off it, you'll bounce of it HARD, call it pretentious, time-wasting nonsense. You'll log in to your YouTube channel and upload a video called BLUE PRINCE IS THE BEST PUZZLE GAME YOU SHOULDN'T PLAY and somehow still have the nerve to call yourself a games critic.

Anyway, 10/10

Very good, very clever design. Well worth the price if you want a nice puzzle game that'll keep challenging you.

If you liked shapez.io, you'll love this. If you look at shapez.io and think "wow, that looks cool" then shapez 2 outdoes it in practically every way.

Even given it's status as Early Access, there's a lot here and it's very polished and fleshed out.

An extremely pure logic puzzle game. Absolute must buy for fans of Tametsi. UI might take a bit of getting used to, but once you understand it, it's all great.

EDIT: I'm back at 50 hours played to tell you this game has taken over my brain in a way I didn't think possible.

They made an SDGQ run, including the complete losers on the couch talking about the lamest things you've ever heard, into a game. 10/10

Inventive puzzles with constant new mechanics to mix things up just as you're getting comfortable.

Challenging extra-curricular content for those who want even harder puzzles after the main path.
