This game is a mix of feelings. A love - hate relationship if you will. ----------TL;DR on the bottom-------------
The game is amazing. Milsims, the mods, various gamemodes provided by Bohemia and the community.
Sure, the community tends to be toxic and d*cks, especially in modes like Wasteland and other Co-ooperation gamemodes where you need to work as a team. But those people are most of the time easily ignored.

The biggest downfall of this game, and i think every single person that has ever launched play on this game agrees, is the performance. It has gotten noticeably stable with x64 rolling out some time ago and that's helped the case a bit but overall it's still very, very, VERY un-enjoyable at times. Having spent 1.7k hours on this game i've spent most of my time playing with 30 FPS at average while my "rig" can easily reach over the minimum requirements. Speaking of which, thats one of the things that decieve players/buyers/users that are looking into buying a game such as this one, the requirements tab you find above the tab where you're reading this review. You know, that Minimum and Reccomended sys. requirements? Yeah, that's complete and utter bullsh*t. Maybe it couldve held true if the game had been optimised but at the moment of this review being written and before, everyone knows it's false as the statement that Russians despise of Vodka. Even the "beast-est" of rigs cannot run this game properly.

The thing that YOU NEED in this game is single core performance, which can be achieved easily with overclocking your CPU. You may have six cores and octa cores but that's just extra numbers for the game to ignore, it barely uses 3-4 cores as it is. Like i said, SINGLE CORE PERFORMANCE is the key to achieving an enjoyable framerate. GPUs don't do much, other than help with textures and resolution settings, AO, AA , PPAA and so on.

The gameplay is amazing, so much to choose from, from the campaign to the widely extensive multiplayer mode that this game focuses on mainly. You have official modes such as Zeus, End Game and others and then you have modded modes such as Wasteland (which isnt really modded, it's just modified vanilla) and then Exile, which is an amazing mod btw, except for the bots that shoot you from a kilometer away from where they are and you haven't even came close to even looking at them. But that's only the top of the list. One mod of hundreds of thousands for you to choose from. Endless fun really, depending on what kind of action you prefer. Altough keep in mind that more mods sometimes equals lesser performance and ALOT of troubleshooting, unless you're lucky as hell.

Movement is decent, alot of stances to choose from. Pretty much every one of the 3 main stances have atleast 2 "sub-stances" if you will. Play through bootcamp and or watch some videos or do the showcases that Bohemia provided for your education on how to properly play this game. Altough keep in mind, you can die from falling 5m off a ledge, and sometimes you can get glitched in certain terrain and die out of thin air.

Mainly this game is alooooot of fun. Especially with friends. You get alot of shennanigans, mainly from some of the bugs and glitches this game has to "provide".

This game has alot of those. Bugs and glitches. You can't play this game without experience most of them. You come to get used to them and overcome some of them, that are able to be overcome but there are some gamebreaking ones that just make you furious at times.

Bohemia doesn't really care about all that much, i mean i hate to say it, they've made an amazing game but lately i dont know what's going on with their minds. From my perspective as i see it, they either don't know what they're doing or are just lazy as hell to do it anyways. You might experiece this very likely if you contact support regarding their product. You'l be asked to do some potential fixes to your problem but only find out that they give up after like 3 suggestions they provide for you and realise they dont work. There's a fair number of errors and glitches and crashes they've havent fixed and have been present for TOO. LONG. A great example of such error is UNABLE_TO_INIT_DXGI. The error has been present for nearly 2 years yet they haven't been even interested in acknowledging it's existence. They're completely ignoring these errors and not caring about them and just making DLCs instead of fixing their game to make it run smoother and more enjoyable.

TL;DR : Game is great, decent ammount of bugs and glitches and errors the devs dont give a flying f*ck about to fix or deal with in general, lower than average performance, but the gameplay and shennanigans make it all worth it. You learn to love the lower performance compared to other games but the gameplay and shennanigans man. Priceless stuff :)

You may disagree with me or not, but this game is plain old garbage.
Sure you do, as some people said, get bored of this game as time passes by.

Rage aswell! Wonder why? Here's some reasons! :

>Netcode is plain old WW1 like. Hits don't register and nades don't do damage either
>Anti-Cheat systems (if there even are any) do not do anything. They are just decorations!
>Community reports don't mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to the developers or any staff involved in this game
>Baddly balanced teams
>Votekicking doesn't mean anything to the devs. They put it in, coded in a way in wich you can only use it to kick your team not the opposing one. I mean seriusly, imagine this: "You're playing a regular game, suddenly people start hacking. You use global chat to tell the opposing team to kick this hacker. Guess what? They wont! They will keep him so they can earn extra XP,VP And Money. Untill they get put against the hacker and then they start crying. Then its pretty much your happy round of karma."

>Outfits' stats don't help you. They are there for decoration. ( I bought "Knockdown Gloves" with the description saying: "Guarranteed knockdown on enemies when hit with the butt of your gun." That description is a lie. Don't ever trust it.
>Weapon stats. Same with the outfit and potentially same with the optics.

So yeah. These are the most rage inducing things in this game. And believe me, the list goes on and on.

Great game for people who are looking forward to the game since the start. I highly recommend it if you like DayZ and Minecraft style survival. I mean sure there are some issues from time to time but the game is in WORK IN PROGRESS and not fully done.
