Silksong is a fun game with many strong points and moments
But it is severely held back by some of the choices that were made for bosses.

A large quantity of bosses just are not fun and find their difficulty through annoying mechanics rather than an actually challenging moveset.
Instead of a test of skill, it feels like a test of patience.
There are some excellent fights to counteract those annoying fights, but the latter have caused me to consider fully dropping the game several times at this point, both in the early game and in the late game.

To add to all this, the regular enemy scaling in the late game is just hp sponge that hit hard because ????
As a result, I stopped interacting with the enemies entirely because it's just not worth my time.

Overall, I'm disappointed by some of the design decisions.

A 2D platformer fighting metroidvania filled with bugs. A great story and gameplay. Would 11/10 recommend buying and playing it.
