Astronaut Hobo Chic!
This has probably been said a thousand times, but I'll make the same comparison. DMZ meets The Division, meets Arena Breakout, meets Tarkov. Its the casual extraction looter shooter the world needed. The world and sound design doesn't give you the arcade-game feel that DMZ gives off, without being realistically oppressive like Tarkov or Arena Breakout. Looting feels good and fun, and when you find what you're looking for or complete an objective the dopamine flows freely. The stakes never feel so high that dying feels like a game-ending setback, at least in my experience.
The AI are dangerous, but often easily avoidable with some skill and situational awareness. Players are hit or miss, like any PVPVE game, but I've found that they have been more often than not helpful or friendly. The AI can be so in-your-face in certain regions that you will often see players banding together to fight them, rather than fight each other.

This demo is better than most games you have to pay for these days. Get it, play it, enjoy it, and relax. Simple yet enjoyable.
