This is the worst 10/10 game ever made. Team Cherry, you have my gratitude, as well as my heartfelt desire to bury you in a steel drum like spent nuclear fuel. Highly recommended.

A good introductory factory sim, and I'll recommend it on those grounds, but I don't think there's much replay value for fans of the games named in the store description. The game's fun, but its simplicity really hurts it, especially as you move later into the game.

As a veteran Factorio player, the linearity of both the research tree and of actual production make this game essentially an autoscroller. There's very few decisions you need to make at any given point in development, with resource processing being an essentially linear process (wood to iron, unlock copper, iron + copper to steel, unlock plastic, plastic + steel to plasteel, unlock glue and titanium, plasteel + titanium + glue to super metal, unlock behemuttium). A few side chains do exist, but by the end they all converge into computer modules.

Space as the primary constraint for factory size makes for some interesting design problems in theory, but the extremely simple logistics means there's not much depth to base-planning, especially once your logistics bots are fully upgraded. The game essentially becomes a single problem of "what production do I do on what islands", which is interesting enough to keep me playing in the later stages, but I don't think I'll revisit it any time soon after finishing it.

An excellent game; I was introduced to it by a tournament hosted by some friends, and have since logged a great deal of time in the game, primarily in single-player. While the game is very obviously focused on its multiplayer aspects, the single-player mode is still a fine distraction. While I do recommend this game, it is best played if you have a few people around to play it with you.

The lack of LAN multiplayer (and online, though I suspect latency would quickly become a problem) is the game's greatest drawback, requiring each player to have their own controller or keyboard to play multiplayer.
