Almost died from awkwardness to a social interaction. Almost. Real life prepared me for this.

Henry is a very loveable protagonist and it's an amazing journey from the very humble beginnings all throughout the second game. Definitely recommend, even though the story's pacing can be so-so at times and the game feels a little outdated and wonky, especially the combat. All of those things get improved in the sequel though, and whatever bugs I've personally encountered only enhanced my experience.
What really makes the game shine though are the locations and characters. They're all memorable in their own way, the actors did some fantastic work. There's also Pebbles. Pebbles is the best. Mutt, too.
More on the combat, since a lot of people complain about it: it's not great. It's OK. What I didn't do, and ended up struggling a lot in the very beginning, was learning the masterstrike. Get that, and then you can basically breeze through the rest of the game. More or less. Multiple enemy fights can still be quite frustrating, but it's really not all that bad.
