Failed FBI sting to catch dissident Saudi's on behalf of Saudi Crown Family. The dissidents were planning on assassinating the Crown Prince. Paddock was the FBI's guy on the inside. He was there to facilitate an arms deal to the dissident Saudi's. The Saudi's got word of this during the deal, then shot and killed Paddock. The Saudi's, fearing that their plans would get out to the Crown Family and implicate their own tribe at home, decided to shoot up the nearby concert to cover their tracks by making it look like terrorism. There was a gunfight near the airport between Saudis and FBI. The FBI, knowing that if word got out that the shooting was the result of a botched operation would lead to bad optics, decided to run with the terrorism angle as well. This is, one-hundred percent, the truth.
