Though I greatly enjoy the core gameplay loop, the overall quality and progress of the game is inexcusable. Performance (especially in VR) is absolutely laughable for a game that looks straight from the PS3/360 era, map diversity is pathetic at this point with some horribly designed and obtuse maps added while the developer apparently refuses to allow for custom maps created by the player base. Nevermind the glitches and immersion-breaking bugs that occur all the time.

Then there's the absolute nonsense the dev team seems to be up to, from constantly delaying updates to releasing tons of merch in lieu of optimizing and fixing the game. Nevermind all the stories of behind-the-scenes shenanigans and pure arrogance. At this point, I don't hope they fix the game - rather I hope a more competent and kind team creates a better iteration of this type of gameplay.

All in all it reminds me of so many unfinished and misguided Early Access games and much like it usually goes, the game will likely never even be close to a decent experience. Don't give these Devs your money.

Used to play this back when it originally came out, remember it playing and running decent. Now? Have to make an account for no reason just to play, then compile shaders, prebuild planets, build graphics card profile, THEN it doesn't work right with VR controllers. Absolute waste of money, avoid at all costs - this is almost Star Citizen levels of incompetence and mismanagement of a potentially good game.

I paid nothing and I still want a refund.

Impressively ugly and incompetent after all these years. Honestly makes me wonder if the Devs bought reviews since its so low quality yet well reviewed.
