It's a beautiful game. The soundtrack, story & gameplay loops themselves call to you in a way only Dune can. It tries to capture the mysticism of a place, the raw beauty found in surviving a harsh environment. Coupled with anti-imperialist themes throughout, one might even say the game invites a certain...Awakening.

A few bugs & necessary balances aside, there's an awful lot that the game gets right. You can see the passion the artists have put into this world...all in all, it's worth a purchase for sure.

Don't listen to the crybabies bitter because they spent $25 10 years ago & now it's become $45.

Don't listen to the min max'ers who call every balance & gamefix a nerf because it makes the game actually difficult, rewarding you for achievements and not at every click of your mouse.

These guys went through hell when the publisher for the console versions of their game screwed them over. They've grinded nonstop to stay relevant even while other companies came along to capitalize on their formula & their bad luck.

Naw gang it's hats off to TFP. They chose to keep working and delivering quality product on their end even when people confused them for their s*** publisher * accused them of scamming gamers by not updating their game. They worked through a pandemic to keep their community updated on every single thing they could think of to share, leveraging their community presence to keep a loyal fanbase even when the game wasn't where they wanted it to be.

You broke bastards, you complain about a game taking ten years to get to 1.0, but you also complain when a company releases a game that doesn't feel complete...which is it? Get off your arses & go work for TFP if you were that passionate about it being done 10 years ago...what tf have you completed in ten years?

How are we even complaining in a day & age where you can literally go message a game developer to tell them your thoughts about a game? Have you not seen the damn streams they've put up telling you exactly what they're about to change? What they're thinking about updating, or revamping, or how they've combed through thousands of damn messages to figure out what the players want to play? Of course you haven't, you saw a price and came to cry about it.

Good game is good. Me play good game long time. You buy.
